I believe it was, but I don't have details on what parts were used or the approximate drop.

18” cw fat sidewalls 😍 for the win

Typo - should read ET18 ?

Are the 5mm spacers required due to combo of KWV3 paired with NT01 305/35/18 having a wide/square profile ?

If using say 275 or 285 front tyre would spacers still be necessary ?

Oof, good catch. Offset corrected.

I suspect any configuration with the 305/35-18 tire size will require a 5mm spacer regardless of the suspension type. Narrower tires likely won’t require it unless the suspension configuration is aftermarket and extremely limited.

An OE-ish look with easier to clean spokes haha.

Expert@ApexRaceParts do you have any photos of G80s with Apex wheels, but at stock height?

Wowwww thank you so much! Would a square 18” be too funky? Also I assume tire availability would favor the 19” square setup, yeah?

Amazing setup. Can you let us know are the pictures of this setup using spacers in the rear as well? Optional is mentioned while the wheels look like they are as far outward one could go. So if so what spacers were used to get the fitment in the pictures?.
Thanks

Yes, there are 5mm spacers front and rear in the photos, but the 5mm rear spacers are just there to match the aggressive front fitment. They aren't required at all.

19/20" VS-5RS + OE tire notes

Wheels:
Forged VS-5RS in Anthracite
Front: 19x10 ET12
Rear: 20x11 ET18

Tires:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Front: 275/35-19
Rear: 285/30-20

We’ve had a number of G80 customers reach out to ask what the best Apex wheel setup is for those who want to reuse their OE tires that the car came with from the factory. While our wheel setups are optimized around wider tire fitments than stock, we understand many G8X owners want to reuse their original tires to save money before moving on to wider fitments. There are also some who prefer to use the OE michelin star BMW spec tires engineered for the car specifically. For either camp, choosing a great set of Apex wheels should be easy. This feature showcase focuses on the setup we recommend most often for those looking to reuse OE tires.

Most of the G8X M3s and M4s as well as all of the G87 M2s we’ve seen come equipped with 19” front and 20” rear wheels. The stock 275/35-19 front tires fit well on our 19x10 ET12 wheels providing a great amount of sidewall support. In the rear, we generally recommend our 20x11 ET18 wheels. While this is a wider wheel than we’d generally recommend for a 285-section tire, the tire stretch is not bad overall as you can see below. We’d still recommend running wider tires once you wear through the original set of tires, but hopefully this photoset helps those of you considering this fitment for your OE tires.

Hi
Would you happen to know if the 19x10.5 version - using 305/30R19 NT01s fit (same clearance)? Diameter would be 0.2" less. and sidewall less 0.6".
Can you tell us about the passenger side using 19s?

Hi Apex. Any reason for removing the 305/35 R18 option from your fitment webpage?
Now only list 295s.
