Some wiggle is normal, but you need to readjust the installation if it's too loose.

I would remove the pipe, check the rubber and ensure you have it positioned the right way. If memory serves me correctly, there are two rings for the clips to slide behind to hold it in place. You want to push down hard to ensure you are clipping on the lower ring.

I used spit to lube the rubber seal so it would push down onto the inlets easier too.
