How long did you have to wait from the car hitting the port in Galveston to when they let you take her home?

Boat arrived Sunday around 4am. They offloaded it Monday morning. it cleared through VPC Tuesday and they loaded onto a truck at 7:34am Wednesday. hit the dealer at noon same day. I could have taken delivery Wednesday but I was already pre occupied so I did Thursday morning.

Any shop recommendations for tint, detail, and/or PPF?

I know of two people now that have gone to https://www.padtx.com/
Work is really good and they use Xpel.

If you want Suntek I would use https://www.bespokepp.com/
Work is also really good.

Both shops work on very high end vehicles.

Hey, how do you determine when it gets loaded on a truck?

I called genius the morning of and they let me know

I ordered my week 34 car from Autobahn as well back in mid June. Production Number by mid July, production complete end of August, and PCD pickup end of October. Car is in SC based on car tracking.....just a couple more weeks...

This is definitely a long shot.. anyone in Houston area willing to meet and do a ride along? Haha had no luck finding one to test drive obviously

Before I put too much money into my M2C I'd like to at least see how a G80 feels. I think I could probably still net even on the car if I ordered a M3

I just ordered a manual M3 in Houston. Waiting on the order number. Happy to do a ride along but it’ll be a while til she arrives!

Right now I'm going to go one of two routes - Keep the M2C, trade the camaro in for a Kia Stinger GT or x3 M40i OR Trade M2C for Manual 22 M3, Trade Camaro (V6) for a Camaro SS.

I am in Austin but couldnt find anyone locally that had any allocation available. BMW of Austin has waitlist of 40 people. BMW Austin South has waitlist of 4 people. BMW of Arlington didnt have a waitlist and promised I will be first to get it as soon as they have one next month and have placed the order.

BMW of Grapevine is also an option. Pretty large dealership. I'm going for a X3 M40i in the next couple months. They gave me around a 6 week ETA from order to delivery.

Around August their M3 ETA was about 8 weeks.

I ended up getting mine from BMW Arlington too. Took a chance and called them last week of September. Now, car currently on a boat to Galveston.

I'm number #2 for allocation at BMW West Houston. I started out at #5 at the beginning of November. I'm being told my estimated order date/ build start will be mid-end of January- then 3-4mo until delivery.
