Hey Guys

Im curious if any of you have experience with Sunoco Race Fuel? I have a few of their fueling stations nearby and they each offer a few race fuels, and I was curious which would be best for both a stock G80CXD and a Piggy_Back G80CXD?

Are there OCtane limits one should not exceed? 260 GT 260GTPlus & 260GTX are the three options.

Also, would it be beneficial to mix E20-E30 along with a few gallons of Race Fuel? Lets say to increase the Octane level to 94-98 range + a couple gallons of E85? WOuld the secondary benefits of E85 be beneficial or improve any safety factors?

Im simply curious, which product would be best, what the optimal range would be for a safe level of Octane increase, and would adding any E85 be beneficial.

The BMW owners manual doesnt say much about Octane limits, it just mentions the minimums & Max E25.

I appreciate any feedback you may have on how to properly increase Octane levels, which product to use, and if E85 would be beneficial for a piggy-back.

Ill be unlocking & tuning later this Spring, but for now, this path is sufficient for a daily driver. While I realize tunes can be specific for certain fuel mixes, Im also curious with a piggy-back system, what octane levels would be good to use, and which product of Sunoco would be best for that purpose.

Went for a few more runs last night. Had a horrible spinning launch here but made up for it with my best recorded 60-130 yet. Fastest I’ve hit before this run was 6.26. Not sure if this is dragy error or what but she was movin up top. This was with a passenger in the car too personal best is 10.18 with a much better launch, doh

What are the specifics on the downpipe and single mid? Catted? Resonators?
I am trying to see how much difference there is between catted and catless. That is a good 60-130 time, I have similar mods.

Your IATs must have been through the roof because you should easily be in the mid 6s for 60-130.
