Looks like it was just a change in spring rate making it softer, I wonder how much of an effect that will have on xDrives.

Now I'm learning that there are Sport, Track and Xtra Low versions of this kit from MSS. Anyone know what the differences are? I assume Xtra Low is the update but it's unclear. Does the track version have stiffer springs? Whats the spring rate? Need more info to make a decision.

What's your rear adjuster gap at?
10mm per your recommendation.

They use to offer that on F8x chassis.
It seems like the track setup is not that popular, so not really sure if they are going to offer it on G8x.

I assume sport is the original setup where the front is not low enough for US market.

Hope that answer your question.

With 10mm rear adjuster gap, I would do 10mm thread gap on the front.

Partially. I wonder what the difference in spring rates are.

That I wouldn't know. They never give me the spring rate information.

What do you mean by thread gap? If the rear has a gap of 10mm, do the same on the front?

For G82, if you do 10mm thread gap on the rear, based on my math, 15mm on the front with the updated front spring.

Ben, so we can adjust once they are on our car right? Not the initial 10mm, but later if we want to raise or drop. Because with the rear you have to disassemble the whole unit for adjustments.

Yes, but the rear is PITA to adjust. Both KW or MSS due to its position.
Based on my experience, it is faster to just remove it.

While the front, it is much easier. Just need to jack up the front end off the ground, then turn.

Thanks, but are you recommending to keep the same thread gap in the front and rear? Or the front will be lower?

That depends on what kind of rake you want to run....From the factory, the front is higher

I recommend to keep the factory rake or modify it a little.
By default, G80 M3 front have more gap than the rear.
So, to maintain the factory rake, front is a a full drop (new updated spring) and rear is 10mm thread gap.

I know that some loves even gap, like H&R, AST, and KW HAS with rear spacer.
I personally loves function more than appearance since I drive aggressively.
But, of course, I can't have it to look weird, so I try to balance it as much as possible without altering the weight ratio too much which can affect the performance.
