Don't forget that your build week is actually the week the car is set to finish production. Week 30 is in two more weeks, no? That would mean this should be about right for the car to move through the entire paint and build process and finish in week 30.

Yeah good point, I might be week 29 now. Genius said it is scheduled to finish 7/22, so that might put me into 29 based on your thoughts there.

i'm still waiting for production to begin, genius said it should be a couple days but im projected to end around the 25th.

My sales guy told me week 30 due to ordering piano black trim but I think you're right. It has to be an earlier production week as the current status is dispatched from the factory.

Was made aware just today that I am in Build week 30 as well. VIN assigned and seems on track to be completed by end of July.

When I checked two days ago the SA couldn't see anything on their system so it seems to be happening pretty quick.

Found out today I am build week 30 here in Vancouver BC. Unfortunately we dont have access to Genius up here. Confirmed production will be complete July 29, hopefully car arrives by September for sure.

Im week 30 as well (according to Genius) but I haven’t seen any movement on the tracker unfortunately. Still stuck on “scheduled for production”…

Hoping to see some movement today based on some other members’ posts. Been in ‘Production Starts’ as of 07/09/21 which was last Friday. Would be nice to see status change today to ‘Exterior Body Assembly’. Genius still states 07/21/21 completion.

Woke up to a great sight! 😌 I spoke with a BMW Genius on Monday and was told that my car was set to begin production as previously told in 2 weeks, or Week 30 of the calendar year (was attempting to make a last minute change to my build and wanted to verify status), but as others mentioned it appears that the build can begin 2 weeks ahead of schedule, so get your changes in folks!

Timeline so far:

6/18 - Order Submitted Production Number Received
6/30 - Scheduled for Production
7/16 - Production Begins

Hahahahaha, at this point I agree it seems more like a week 29!

BMW’s system has it as a ‘Confirmed Build Week 30’ but estimated completion July 21st 2021 which is technically week 29 from my understanding. The sooner the better for me so I’m not complaining!
