None at all. All good and normal. I must add that the added sound is only noticeable in sport and spot plus. Comfort mode is quiet as a mouse.

One of the resonators has an x built in and it's the only spot the pulses merge. I paid 200$ out the door. It sounds REALLY good |

So they can just use that x or they have to install a different one? I am a complete noob on exhaust stuff. I was quoted $350 for the removal of both resonators and I am wondering if he's already figured in the xpipe or not. $200 is a great deal. Not many reliable shops close to me so not much competition. Beats that other guy who paid $600 though haha.

So they'll cut out the whole section and just install what amounts to a 2.5 foot xpipe. I was really surprised when he told me 200, I had seen your quote of 350 and I was prepared to pay about that. 600 is pure lunacy. If you're in Orange County my Guy is "south coast muffler hitch" I think this is the only exhaust mod 90% of us will need |

Thoughts on secondary cat? You left in-tact, but would this be "over the top?" Yours sounds epic - thank you so much for sharing! I will be doing mine after getting back from PPF & ceramic coat tomorrow! |

Right now my condo is in a pretty tight community and I'm positive it would be obnoxious (to everyone but me) on cold start. Kind of like my m2c with aa single mid was But If I were to get them out: 1-It would be a tiny bit difficult to get the cat delete pipes fabricated so definitely a more expensive endeavor 2-I'd leave the 1 resonator that houses the x and let that one sort out any possible rasp 3-In California it would be kind of difficult finding a shop willing to do it, even the guys I have a relationship with didn't even want to discuss it. Long story short, I would definitely do it if I lived in a less dense neighborhood. But I am currently VERY happy with the way it now sounds👍🏼👍🏼 |

Today while getting to know my car a little better:
I did a pull in 3rd and let out up near 6k and it throws down some pretty serious pops and bangs. Definitely a much shorter duration than my m2c had but every bit as aggressive. Not as sharp as s55 burbles but boomier if that makes sense. |

Great thread! So my takeaways are: secondary cat delete (right after downpipe flanges) biggest bang for buck in volume. First resonator (closest to engine) is straight through piping with baffles and expansion chamber, little volume benefit removing. Second resonator (furthest from engine) is more complex and is where cylinder bank mixing occurs (are we 100% on this, anyone have pics?). If these takeaways are correct, i would defo do secondary cat delete since they are unmonitored (did this on my aston with the amg ttv8, results were legendary) and the first resonaotor. My experience with secondary cat deletes has been really really good. I would expect zero point zero drone with secondary cat n first resonator delete on the G8x
This plus charcoal filter removal and bmc could be the move... |

Im going your route this afternoon- do you have any pictures by chance or specific details on what they did on your secondary cat delete? Did they just do 3” piping they sourced? The word cat is making me a little nervous. |
