3 pedals and a great color combo! Glad you're getting it earlier than expected. Enjoy!

Soooo, back and forth to my bank with a nice porter kid to Fedwire payment. Then sat in the showroom for 3 hours waiting for the wire to post and shoo-ing people away from MY car . 1st world problems I guess.

Took it straight to the detailer for paint correction, ppf, and ceramic. Kind of surprised to see tons of deep swirl marks over the whole driver sideskirt even though dealer didn't wash per my request. Will post clean pics after she gets home next weekend!
Yeah I had to provide very specific type of cashiers check for my dealer, but at least I knew that ahead of time.

I'm jealous of your predicament; i'd love to be contemplating whether to call or to wait, pretty sure us at Brunswick are stuck sitting till after the weekend to finish any processing.
Since mine is individual color, my sales guy said it'll take longer than usual for work order. I'm assuming me and you are on the same boat (technically off the boat&#128579.

Il take your Jan 4th estimate pretty sure I'm same way

Lol what no way. Many of these dealerships don't expect us to track online. I asked him 3 times to send me the final price so I can begin talking to my bank and he still hasn't. It is what it is. Not surprised this is another excuse to buy time to sell me dealer packages

Almost see no one with 6MT with the original 18/19 wheel.

My dealership was the same way they block the price in the order sheet. but my salesman told me the price of the car stays msrp without any funny fees like nitrogen tires, tinted windows etc..

More than likely he hit his sales quota for December and he wants to roll you into January so he has sales for that month.

Here's mine. 6MT. Very happy with those wheels, forged, light, lots of rubber to protect from potholes, perfect for daily driving. Super easy to clean and you will need lots of cleaning, yet these wheels hide the brake dust. $320 per tire in this setup. Only benefits for my (I can't stress this enough, my own only) goals.

These are crazy stories for this day and age. Nitrogen filled tires is super funny considering that outside air is nearly 80% Nitrogen. I'd also make sure where they collected that air for that money. I don't want any NJ air, especially from anywhere near Newark or East Brunswick.

Love this spec! The black trim, wheels, and calipers contrast beautifully w the body. Totally hear you on the practicality of the 18/19 setup. My rational side lost the debate and I went w the 19/20, but I think I'll get these for a winter package.

Thank you! The black trim comes standard, I didn't go for the Shadowline trim, so the spoiler is in the body color, yet that came with chrome plated exhaust tips instead of black, but I can live with that. I cleaned plenty of brake dust from wheels in the past three decades, so I learned to appreciate the easy spoke configurations. 825/6 wheels require thin fingers and a lot of patience to clean. And you can't delay cleaning if you have any polished surfaces. The 18/19 wheels come fully painted so they won't discolor from brake dust or road salt. Actually, my original goal was to use the 18/19 setup for winter and get 19/20 comes summer. Installed Michelin A/S and I'm considering keeping them all year round. I can always get a summer set if I want. Also, considering the weight increase in the 19/20 setup, the 18/19 wheels will be noticeably lighter when that semi-annual wheels swap time comes.

I was just perusing the member classifieds and there’s a set of black tips on there for $99.

Well done, sir 🫡 what a beauty.
Everybody showing off their cars online all have 19/20 set up and almost never see anyone post pictures of their 6MTs with 18/19 set up. Like you mentioned, I went with 18/19s with those goals in mind, weight, ride quality, pot-holability, and save on tires. Plus I never really liked other sets enough to ignore the benefits of 18/19s. I goes I don’t show off my car either…🤭

Thank you! I show it off, every opportunity. To real people though. Except for this forum, nobody can tell the diameter, let alone the style of the wheels. To most people wheels are just that. I wouldn't mind having gold wheels with CCB though, that'd be nice. No cleaning either.

Not sure what black tips are. Are they rims? I would be super cautious to get forged wheels for $99. Stolen maybe?

Exhaust tips. You mentioned that yours came with chrome as part of the shadowline delete.

Understood! It's only called "Delete" on the automatic models. On the manual, one has to add the Shadowline trim for $0 if one so desires. Good point on the black tips! Thank you! I'd love to get those. Even less cleaning.
