Favorite beer of the season right now is Pompeii IPA by Topping Goliath brewery. Highly recommend if you like IPA's that aren't too hoppy. I typically stick to whiskey but this is one of a couple/few beers that I will deviate too

Trying some Swinckels' Superior later for the big match. A full malt beer brewed with cascade hops from the Yakima Valley in US as they say so looking forward to it. A reasonable 5.3 ABV.

Hofbrau Original is one of my favorites year round. I also like their Dunkel and Oktoberfest a lot too.
Saranac Tropical Storm is by far my favorite IPA but i don't think they make it anymore. Anchor Brewing Christmas beer is different every year but I've honestly never had one I didn't really enjoy. And when in doubt, Guinness.

Athletic Brewing Company - Free Wave Hazy IPA
Hard to believe this is non-alcoholic. And like 70 calories. I love IPAs, but with the high alcohol content and the high calories, it was a rare thing for me to have more than a couple every now and then. But I can drink 2 or 3 of these every night with no ill effects. I've tried many other brands of NA beer, but nothing comes as close to the hard stuff as ABC's IPAs.

I enjoy Guinness, but prefer Murphy's - if I had to list a favorite Murphy's would be it. The Guinness tour in Dublin is awesome though. Its more of a museum than a plant tour (you don't actually see the plant), but they did a really good job currating the floors to be interesting and interactive. The circular glass bar at the top is a great way to see all of Dublin from a central / high vantage point.
Cool pic from the bar looking towards the church next door with all the kegs stacked up. I'm guessing the priests get a cut for storage fees. My wife and I have been hanging out here lately -https://www.teresas-cafe.com/ - it's a local Belgian pub with awesome food and an amazing beer selection. Here is there current tap list: https://untappd.com/v/teresas-next-door/7281 We really enjoyed the Dark Spiritus, the Tripel De Garre (served with a side of gouda) and the Gulden Draak Classic. I'd highly recommend all of them if you like interesting Belgians |

I like Murphy's as well and I rotated your pic. It gave me a kink in the neck.

I am now limited in what I can eat and drink having been diagnosed with Celiac's Disease. I am allergic to the Gluten protein found in Wheat and some grains. This means that most beers I cannot drink. Good thing is there are some Gluten Free offerings. My favorite beer is made by Ghostfish Brewery in Seattle and their Grapefruit IPA is in my wheelhouse. Even if I didn't have to be Gluten Free I would love this beer!!!
I love a beer that is as bitter as my ex-wife! |

Back when I drank, I leaned toward Belgian... but went through plenty of phases with Karl Strauss and Gordon Biersch, both local to San Diego, as well as Arrogant Bastard.
These days, if I drink, which is few and far between, I prefer something light like a Stiegl Radler, either Grapefruit or Lemon. It was originally created for cyclists in Austria, so I consider kind of like an athletes drink, refreshing and perfect on a hot day. |

My best friend just arrived rom Halifax with a sampler of Nova Scotia craft beer. I think we'll have an early start to the festivities before the girls arrive to take me out for dinner at the St-James Gate Pub in Moncton.
