The salesguy at the dealership stuck to his "we lease all our cars at that number and it can't be changed" right up until I told him that I wasn't going to be buying a car at MSRP and max allowable money factor, and that I'd just wait a few months for a broker to free up. He called me back 5 minutes later saying the lower MF had been approved. For all the things that suck about Tesla, not having to deal with this stuff is a major benefit. |

So Adaptive Cruise is not available as an option when you purchase the Manual?

Not to happy about my deal.
MF .00123 Residual 56% Discounts $500 loyalty and $500 Discount MSRP $87,445 Out the door was $2016 in dealer fees which includes 1st monthly payment. I added $1500 to bring my lease monthly payment down a little. So out the door total was $3516. Finally monthly payment which includes tire protection, wear and tear is $1,400. My dealer did not budge on further discounts. They claimed that bmw NA is not giving any discounts. They also claimed that the money factor they have is given per region in USA and they are unable to give the base as they aren’t allowed. They were initially giving me .00133 but after I bugged them over and over they gave me last months which was .00123. The car is a $13,000 increase from my previous F80 which equates to an additional $390 to my monthly. Overall if you get discounts consider yourself lucky. That seems to be the primary way to get a good lease deal. |

It's a good chunk of change, but I want the car now, and I can afford that without being reckless, so I pulled the trigger. |

That's correct. It accelerates the car automatically, downshifting and up shifting as needed, so it wouldn't work in a manual unfortunately.

Most of those brokers have put new BMW M clients on pause. They are flooded with business but little to no allocations and/or cars. And that was before the official xDrive news came out.

If you're lucky to get a broker spot (I'm trying) great. I do not think the broker discounts will be anything substantial until at least a month or 2 passes. July/August I cannot see them getting over 3%.
If you wait until Sept/Oct that is probably your best bet broker or no broker. I just traded in my i8 lease and am currently borrowing a family members X2 for the time being (yikes). I still am inclined to wait on principal it's very hard for me to stomach $200 more a month for a 52K less car (i8) or $150 more a month for a 32K less car (My M6). In March I was offered a 150K Competition M8 for $1299. Declined hate black on black. Leasing this car sucks I may just buy it. |

Yep, doing some backwards math it looks like he paid...er, got ripped off...about $3K for it...this is why people doing leases need to know the exact figures on every component of a lease and not just focus on what payment is.
