I appreciate everyone’s patience, and I want to be upfront about it publicly, not just privately. Some orders are delayed right now.

The factory I use moved in February, which will be a big long-term benefit because throughput times should improve quite a bit, but in the short term it was disruptive. Combined with the two-week Lunar New Year holiday, a number of orders, especially from December, are behind where they should be.

I am working through that now.

The positive is that orders coming in now should actually be on the faster side relative to where I have historically been. The main challenge is getting through the backlog created by the move and holiday disruption.

I am headed back there next week, which should help. I am excited to see the new space and begin implementing a new production management system for the business. I have been working with a software engineer on an automated backend that will improve internal workflows. It will also support broader customer-facing improvements over time, including realtime order tracking and a heavily refreshed web site and ordering experience.

None of this happens as fast as I would like, but I am very excited about where BSPK is headed. I think 2026 is going to be a big year for taking the company to the next level.

Thanks again for the patience and support.
Hey John, thanks for the quick response. Just excited and envious seeing similar wheels delivered.

You’ve been communicative privately and I appreciate that.

Excited as you continue to grow and refine your workflow.

Early November. They are worth the wait! You will not be disappointed.

Happy to hear about the new facility for BSPK. I’m sure this won’t be my last set I order 🤙🏻

Brushed Gunmetal Gloss

I got the tires mounted up today. Up next is coating, and then they will be ready to go on the car as soon as the weather warms up.

This is a fun one. Someone had asked if brushed titanium could be done darker to bring out more of the bronze undertones, so this is what we ended up with. I am inclined to make this a color. Name suggestions? I was thinking Brushed Ember but I’m not married to it.

I have another set of Sabine wheels on order for my X5M F85…will gladly share it if you care to see the finished product…however here are the current set of Josie that I finally got a chance to get some tires on it..stayed with OEM tire specs but aggressive offset. Love the concavity and will start putting miles on them to get to break-in service….only have 300 plus miles so far. Thanks again John for an awesome color wheel combo…Double Dark Gunmetal Gloss with 19 x 10 et 11 fronts and rears 20 x 10.5. Et 5 wrapped with All season Michelins.

Post when you get them please. Also, maybe weigh them when you get them and post specs for sizes and offset, etc. That would be amazing. Thanks in advance.

For those that have had their wheels delivered already, do you get a tracking number or do they just show up?

That said there is an xdrive compatible setup that would be a 18” front and 19” rear and 305/325 tires that would work. The 305 front requires a little camber finesse to fit well though. You can also do a 275/325 setup that would work with multiple diameters.

The default setup (and I mean default because it’s like 99% of setups for xdrive) is 285/295 but there’s more that’s possible if you’re looking to push the boundaries a bit.

I’d be happy to run through in more detail over DM. Thanks!

Tire 1 285/35R19
Tire 2 325/30R19
Difference
Tire Height (Diameter) 26.9 in 682 mm 26.7 in 678 mm 0.66%
Wheel Size 19 in 483 mm 19 in 483 mm 0.00%
Sidewall Height 3.9 in 100 mm 3.8 in 98 mm 2.26%
Tire Width 11.2 in 285 mm 12.8 in 325 mm 14.04%
Tire Circumference 84.4 in 2,143 mm 83.8 in 2,129 mm 0.66%
Revolutions per Mile 751 756 0.66%
Revolutions per Kilometer 466.7 469.8 0.66%

Doesn't it need to be within 1%? This would check out on an x-drive, no? In reference to the 19x10.5 et14, 19x11.5 et18 setup in a previous post I commented on.

Those tires could work on xdrive but the stagger isn't necessarily ideal. Lot of understeer with that type of setup (hence why i was suggesting combos that used 305/325). It depends on how you use the car I suppose. As always, shoot me a DM if you want to discuss in more detail. Thanks!

Finally got my individual spec delivered.

Same wheels (Charlotte 20x10.5 F and 20x11 R) dropped 20mm front 13mm rear. Waiting on 19” front to keep original tire size.

Yep it's a square set up, tyres are the OEM 285/30/20 PS4S star specs.

Interior is Fiona Red.

It's summer here and hasn't rained since the brakes were installed.
Your post really has me questioning what color I want to get for my Thundernight M240i. I havent really liked the look of silver wheels, but your car looks fantastic.

Hi John... wanted to ask for the both future and existing customers... If we already ordered 19/20 set of wheels or 20/21 wheels... is it possible down the road... for example... my current set of Josie... that are double brush gunmetal.. wanted to order ONLY a set of front wheels in 20 as an additional option to swap with the front to be 20/20 setup with same color: I would basically purchase a set of 2 front only in terms of wheels to alternate my setup... Would you be able to do that type of orders? Just curious... In terms of options .. for those that may want to do square setups. Thanks

I was thinking this same thing yesterday. Maybe wish I would have done 20s in the front instead of the 19s. I guess the true concern would be that there is no guarantee the finish is going to be consistent with the new wheels and the old wheels.

It’s possible but there are considerations that need to be taken into account. I’ve done it with pretty good success but given the brushed finishes are done by hand there is some potential for slight variation in finish.

Exactly. The color on a brushed finish can vary slightly so while it’s possible and I’ve done it with success, there are always concerns around slight variation without the physical wheels being present. There’s tools to measure the color to make sure they match perfectly if the wheel is present but doing it based on photos can be more challenging. Not impossible but challenging.
