Just got it tinted! (Ceramic Tint) 50% front windshield , 15% around the rest. PPF on Monday

For those wondering , I went carbon black exterior and Fjord Blue/Black Full Merino Leather interior ☺️

How is visibility with 50% tint on windshield? I was considering the same but am worried about visibility at night. Also, does it obviously look tinted? Don't want the cops to pull me over too lol.

So for me this is my first car actually getting that 50% tint in the front and reason being is because now I’m in Florida. Visibility is still very good barley noticeable. I heard people said the clear film even helps with sun but I’m not sure. I’m definitely worried about being pulled over but with this nice of a car hopefully the cop likes m3 😁

I wouldnt sweat it man...in 8 years I was pulled over once for my 50% tint here in FL. Cops dont seem to care much about that type of stuff at least where I'm at

Looks great! I had an Azurite Black '14 435 that's almost identical to Carbon Black (put them side by side and I couldn't see any difference).
Would love to see some pics in the sun where the blue comes out.
I switched to Tanz Blue, which is the opposite (can look almost black in some lighting conditions), for my '18 M4 and am sticking with it for my '25 M3 (that is waiting for a ship in Bremerhaven).

My car arrived at the performance center yesterday, app updated "At the BMW Center"

Here's my all in timeline -

Aug 3 - Placed order with immediate allocation assignment
Aug 9 - 112 Status, Scheduled for Production
Sept 6 - 150 Status, Production Begins
Sept 13 - 151 Exterior Body Assembly Begins and progressed to paint shop
Sept 16 - Still in paint shop
Sept 17 - Made it all the way to dispatched from factory
Sept 19 - At the Port
Sept 30 - In Transit
Oct 15 - At the Port (Brunswick, GA)
Oct 21 - Given date for PCD.
Oct 23 - "At the BMW Center" Car arrived at Performance Center
Nov 20 - PCD assigned date (soonest available, was told Nov 9-19th was blocked off for corporate event.)

Original production date was Sept 18th.

Sat at VPC for about a week awaiting for carrier pickup.

Why Carbon Black over Black Sapphire? I don't think I've seen Carbon Black and it looks almost identical in these photos.

Carbon black is so nice in the sun. You see a nice dark blue when the sun hits it. Can’t go wrong at all. With the ppf and ceramic coating it will look so clean
