Those are arriving with the customer any day. Hopefully we'll see them relatively soon.

Hi John,

Do you have any pictures of Viola, Vivianna, Ventina, Scarlett mounted on cars? Preferably in silver.

Been quiet on here for too long. The storm, a burst pipe, and flu have had me sidelined a bit so apologies to people who I have been slow getting back to. Everything moving on the production side but just this type of thing is the first thing I kind of defer when time crunched. Let’s get back to it though, shall we?

This is a fun one. Someone had asked if brushed titanium could be done darker to bring out more of the bronze undertones, so this is what we ended up with. I am inclined to make this a color. Name suggestions? I was thinking Brushed Ember but I’m not married to it.

Hey John,
Those Anika's look amazing! Sorry to hear you have been put through the ringer lately, hopefully everything is up from here. I am sure you are still trying to get caught up on emails/PM's, I sent a couple emails checking in, I suspect while you were dealing with all your stuff, but just wanting to make sure you were still catching up as I hadn't seen anything yet and wanted to make sure I didn't miss a response from you.

We wanna know more about Sabine… she’s not on the website. Do you have an example of a monoblock Sabine?

I have to get that (and a few others) up. Appreciate the reminder.

I have not made it in monoblock yet though. I think it’ll come out really well. If it’s something you’re seriously considering, shoot me a DM.

Double brushed titanium or dark brushed titanium would be my suggestions. That finish looks great.

Hi John,
Hope you recovered and everything is good.
This color looks great, are they gloss, right? Are they darker than the normal brushed titanium gloss?
When you have time you will find my DMs. 😉

They are going on a Daytona Violet Touring.
I also have his carbon brakes so they should stay nice and clean.
Really happy with the result.
Front needs to come down when I move to somewhere with a flatter driveway.
Specs are 20x10.5et8, so same as running 4 rear wheels with 12mm spacers which is what I was doing previously.

Also really happy with the carbon brakes. Feel great on the street with no noise or dust and worked a treat on track.
They got hot enough to be smoking and turn the black anodizing on the rotor bell brown with zero loss of bite.

DV looks so good! I almost picked up a DV e36, but I bought an Avus one instead. What size are those tires? Your rims are square?

What color is the interior?

How is the performance of the ceramic rotors in the wet?

Love hearing that!

When you see the hat and bell discolor into the brown range, that usually means the hat is heat soaked around the 250C neighborhood, and on track that typically corresponds to rotor face temps in the 700 to 800C range at peak. That is real energy being absorbed.

The smoke is the street pads doing what street pads do when you run them at proper track temps. You will start to see outgassing in roughly the 400 to 500C pad surface window.

The important part is zero loss of bite, no noise, no dust on the street, and they took repeated hard stops on a G81 without drama.

Wheels look amazing, btw. I had to dive into the brakes though because I've been dealing with the skeptics on Rennlist all week. This made my day. Thanks so much for sharing!

I always wanted a Daytona or Techno Violet e36 as that was the new M3 when I was a teenager.
But all the ones around now are hammered.

Yep it's a square set up, tyres are the OEM 285/30/20 PS4S star specs.

Interior is Fiona Red.

It's summer here and hasn't rained since the brakes were installed.

Not a G8x but someone was asking about bronze satin and I realized we didn’t have an example of it in the thread yet…

Curious how much weight does that save per wheel?
How much of comprimise

if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walk like a duck...it's a duck.

Every time I see a new post in this thread, I begin salivating like Pavlov's dog. I keep thinking John has just posted pics of my wheels ready to be shipped.
