You’d think this is 1 of 1, but there’s a ‘23 with the same color combo!

Is your job here to police and shit on everyone's FS post with absolutely NO intent to buy any of these vehicles.

I recall, the Admins used to ban people doing this excessively. A nice constructive suggestion is always welcome, but, man, over and over... One day, you may want to sell your car...or better, give it away at one point

No, not my job to do that. Just exercising my 1st Amendment rights. Anyone posting on a public forum has an equal opportunity to receive positive or negative feedback.
I don’t like this color combination, I commented to that effect.

Speaking of things we remember, I remeber when a gallon of gas was below $1. I remeber when “it took a village” to raise a kid, and for the better - as opposed to now - where most parents erroneously believe that their parenting style is “best” when it isn’t objectively speaking and G-d forbid you tell them otherwise. I also remember when a person decided to go into the medical field they understood that there are sacrifices to their personal life because that’s the job and the financial rewards are high. Now I’m reading in WSJ about these 20something, 30something doctors wanting “work-life balance”. It’s disgusting. In part it’s rooted in what you said .. “a nice, constructive comment” would have been nicer, if it was deserved. This car isn’t deserving of that. In a general sense, over the years I’ve seen a lot of credit give for unremarkable things to undeserving people. Just turn on the TV, you’ll see it. This type of behavior may seem benign, but it’s like cancer to the fabric of our society. “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. So, you dont say something once. Then twice. And again. You know where I’m going with this…. If we don’t speak up when we see someone doing something shitty that can we tied back to the 10 commandments, we must speak up (this isn’t related to this post exactly).
People who make crappy posts, trying to pass them off as some type of opportunities should be called out on their behavior. I am not the world police, however, it’s our job as members of society to establish what reasonable behavior is. If this post started like “Customer cancelled the car…now we are stuck with this…wtf, I dont know what to call it…please help with getting it off the lot, giving $2,000 off ”… Well, we wouldn’t be having this dialogue, would we?

FWIW, my car is IOMG w Silverstone and in the court of public opinion it’s more desirable than what is being sold here, less the Carbon Pack & 6MT (which is super nice). This car in content is like having a beautifully cooked, dry-aged steak for $300 brought to your table and then the waiter spits in your plate. If this car was almost any other color combo, it wouldn’t be posted here. It would be sold in less than 5 calls on the waiting list and w/o a $2,000 off incentive.

PS: I too can’t sleep because I keep dreaming of this car and it wakes me up in a cold sweat.
Stopped reading after the first line Bullshit.
This is a private forum, privately owned and they can tell you what you can or cannot say.

In reality, we should not be shitting on every fellow poster's FS post and definitely assuming things like you did (quickly debunked by the thread owner)

You may not like the combo, and I do not like it either but only takes one customer. I am surprised they did not ask for non-refundable deposit on the setup like this...

Agree to disagree. I think we are saying the same thing anyway… just using different words.

About debunking… I don’t believe everything I read on the internet, especially when the OP has a financial incentive to say what was said. I agree with you 100% on the deposit. Does not click for me to be a dealer and not take a deposit on $100k+ individual order. And then “reach into their own pocket” to sell it. They should wrap it in matte black or white, warranty the wrap for 3 years and charge $108k.

One thing worth mentioning, deposit laws (especially in CT) favor customers so deposits are always refundable unless it was written on a purchase order, in which most dealers don’t and won’t do.

Noted.

Per below from state gov website.

Automobile Deposit
Most motor vehicle laws in the state are enforced by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Connecticut law states that at the time a deposit is taken, the dealer must disclose in writing whether the deposit is refundable or non refundable (pending loan acceptance). This information must be on the contract or purchase agreement, for a new or used vehicle.

We don’t know what we don’t know. But…maybe I was wrong about this thing. I don’t see it on the Greenwich BMW site.

Car looks great. Sad to see some people just can’t keep their mouths shut if they don’t like something.

What market is msrp only? Certainly not one I shopped. Typical dealer smokeshow.

Took me 15 mins to get $1500 off my M3 with individual interior. MSRP is for lazy people.

Took you 15 minutes to get $1500 off MSRP? That could be interpreted many different ways...

I spec'd out a new 2025 M3 to order and was getting a discount as well. It's not that hard to push for something off. Even when I bought my first G80 M3 during the height I was able to get $2500 off.

I mean, I actually love this spec haha. If I wasn't so deeply invested in my F90 M5, I'd definitely get into this. I think it's an absolute beauty. GLWS!

It's not a terrible spec at all. One thing I will say is that I prefer the buckets that incorporate alcantara on the inner thigh area. I had Kyalami buckets and now black buckets, but dont like that you dont get that bit of different color and texture on Fiona, Tartufo, Ivory, etc buckets.
