I was very impressed by the lambo. It weighs hundreds of pounds more than a G80 (est wet weight ~4300), no turbos, and has much more downforce for track work.

Anyone can make a fast turbo car using a gtr or rs3. Just need deep enough pockets.

Wonder no more:
  • REVUELTO is the name of a rowdy bull that jumped into the stands no fewer than eight times throughout his career in Barcelona in 1880.
  • REVUELTO also translates to "mixed", a tribute to the bull's wild personality and the car's complex drivetrain.
  • Inspired also by "Revuelta", the Spanish word for "revolt", it suggests revolution, a new beginning, a new era.

M3 is a monster, I’m sure it’s not very underrated. Italian hp are just not the same as bmw.

I was a bit surprised at TT Audi’s performance. They are pretty quick when tuned like that

It is not a regular M3 being raced here. FWIW. This is a rebuilt engine and transmission, so basically a different vehicle in a straight line…it was the most changed of the 3 from what you could buy.

Maybe no one is cross-shopping them directly but the Revuelto owner said that he's expecting his M3 to arrive soon.

Every Lamborghini is named after a famous bull. It’s their tradition.

It’s fun to see people mispronouncing their Spanish names since the Gallardo, but the Murciélago is the most egregious example.

I doubt he is selling his Revuelto for an M3. You could literally get 4 M3s for the price of 1 Revuelto. So I doubt he sees them as the same…the M3 is a better daily driver.

They're not even on the same planet. I don't think anyone is saying that.

Obviously. 130k m3 vs million dollar lambo…these used to be dreams to come close to and now a wagon smokes it.
Tuned vs stock is of course a different story but the point is that they are all similar HP. And it’s a wagon!

I don’t know how they’re measuring, but I notice that ET’s in carwow videos are usually a bit slower than expected. In case anybody doubts that the wagons can really move, here’s a Touring running 9.1

Just noticed the plates, this is the same car lol

Prepped drag strip and its timing gear vs a dusty runway and some cones and probably different fuel.

Yep, and will probably be >$150K. BMW will say "look, wagons don't sell in the US." If the M3 Touring came here, it would be a close to forever car for me.

So much envy and anger all mixed up.

This is an M3 with a rebuilt engine. The ratings are not from BMW. This is not your normal ‘tuned’ engine or transmission. Both have been rebuilt…so this is not stock with some tuning. Good PR nonetheless…
