They are on the pricier side but have tried some cheap ones from eBay before and the brightness of them is night and day.

Hi, I am looking at getting a pair too, but I am worried they will fade out like my OEM ones I have had in the past.

How are yours going?

Finally got around to fitting my new door / puddle lights, decided to go for ///M on the rear doors and “M3 CS” on the front doors. Unfortunately even though the guy I was dealing with put a note on my order to send me the new M3 CS lights, which have the red border and CS font to reflect the G8x CS badging, the stores picked the wrong part so I’ve got a new set on the way and I don’t even need to return the old ones, which is great customer service!

I’m a complete retard when it comes to anything DIY but they were literally a piece of cake to fit, using just my own plastic trim tool and the small flat head screwdriver they include with each set (I only used this to separate the power plug from the original lights as it’s made of metal and didn't want to risk damaging the door trim).

The image on both is super-sharp, particularly the ///M lights so I’m really happy with the results. Decent, low-cost mod.

Is this common with the 50th anniversary logo? I see you have the same issue as well.

Changed my M3 CS lights to the latest ones from Open Throttle, which mirror the G8x CS red border and font, so now have these fitted in my front doors.

They look great! I just ordered a pair for my M4. Is the install as easy as they say?

Install is the easiest thing ever. Just pop out the old ones with the included screwdriver, pull on cable to unplug, plug in new ones, reinsert into door.

It will take you longer to open the box then install, super easy.

I know this is a long shot, BUT, if anyone has the 50th Anniversary Puddle Light Slides not in use, I'm interested in trading or buying them.

I have the regular BMW roundel and regular M slides to trade. (See below)
