Playing around with wheel fitment and spacers to work out fitment on some new wheels.

21" 6Sixty Design from our F90 M5. Too big but the design works well with the G80. Will do either 20" front and 21" rear or 20" all round.

That Radioactive Waste Green car on the left woudn't have looked out of place on the cover of BMW Performance circa 2001.

Our Verde Mantis F80?

Don't know man. A bit ahead of its time for 2001.

I don't like the wheels, like the stock much more.
21 is just too much for this car...my opinion. Of course taste is different.

But I do like the spacers, altough a side by side pic would be nice (with and without spacers)

I agree 21 is too big. Its just what we had around to test fit. Have ordered some 20" all round.

Really goes change the look. Some spacers and a little lowering will do make a very nice impact on the aesthetics.

Same. Have yet to see any of these renderings being any better than what BMW has created.

But I do think the color is super nice, and spacers automatically improves the looks too.

The spacers do look legit, thanks for testing/sharing!

Also, the Verde Mantis F80 transcends space and time!

Yes.

Well no BMW Performance magazine circar 2001 looked ahead of its time. Well, from a 2001 perspective that is.

Now 20 years later, turned out that is exactly what we now get, from factory!

Spacers look great with 15mm front and rear. Any rubbing so far?

I like the spacers as well. I also think what throws off the look are the black side skirts, etc. The 21's probably would look better if those parts weren't black.

Nice. Thanks. That's an aggressive stance with 15mm spacers front and rear, looks great...but always worried about the tires rubbing against the liner or fender wells, especially with passengers or big dips.
