I don't have any videos but to my ear, it is loud compared to without controller. I initially was going to cut resonators or buy a midpipe. I'm satisfied for now and in no hurry to do anything for a minute.

Definitely, in comfort it still has a growl and in Sports, it sounds as if it's in sport + before valve controller. Sport + you get way more burbles and Definitely louder.

In the open mode, it's louder in all modes. When you select sport or sport +, the burbles are more pronounced. Now this is my take on installing the controller and I am sure others will say different.

Yes, we drilled through it and pulled the wire through.

I tried this controller but ended up with the Dhaler. I don't like the fact this takes over the system and I lose my M1 and M2 flap control (default operations). With this its either ON/OFF. I also cannot program the controller to home-link, I have to operate that Megatron 1980's remote to operate the flap control. Needless to say I returned it and much happier with Dhaler. Always big thumbs up to Mike from X-PH for great pricing on either item and helping me deal with the return.

I tucked them away. Removed a couple of screws from heat shield and tucked them in there.

I don't understand this either. Also i don't use controller that much. I have mine in the open position unless my wife is in car and I turn it off. Not sure what M1 and M2 buttons have to do with valves.

Does the controller remembers your last setting when you shut of the car or does it always resets to off? |

It remembers your last setting. When car is shut off, it reverts to closed position. It scared me when I opened door Invacare and the valves opened. I was lime what the hell us this noise...😐

VSC2 is similar to Dahler, I think it piggies as well, but not sure of its reliability. I haven't heard any complaints with Dahler, but too many with VSC2. Wish someone would have given me a nice breakdown before I had to experiment. Dahler can be programmed to remember last setting on power off/on, or to auto open at startup if I recall. I also programed my Dahler remote into button 1 and 3 in homelink for quick unlock and then default (factory mode) . I can press the rearview mirror home link button 1 it opens full, then I can flip back to stock functionality with he 3rd button where any M1 and M2 or stock (ASD) flap control takes over. I have mine default to stock on startup since my wife drives it every here and there. When I use it, I just start the car, press home link 1 button and be on my way. I managed to reset the remote while trying to find a way to make it work with garage button. I opened the remote or main box and found a program button. I just kept hitting it and eventually it just started working again. |
