You just haven’t grasped how they work yet, look at some CSL videos and you’ll understand what I mean. Essentially this is how it works: 1) Car is off - No DRLS at all. 2) Unlock car - Welcome lights with yellow DRL’s and beams, then reverts to DRL’s white 3) Turn your car on, DRL’s are white, but DRL’s turn to yellow if you set headlights on. So essentially yellow DRL’s are only permanently on when you have your headlights on. And give you a nice greeting when you unlock the car. This is how I understand how they work and I’m 90% sure, but someone can happily prove me wrong. |

Don’t lower a CS/CSL car, unless it’s like the Litchfield bilstein kit for the M2 CS. Almost all the premium on these cars is in the suspension geometry and the dampers. If you are going to mess with the car, save the money and get an M3CX.

Done the lot with it and it never drove like it did during those first 6,000 miles stock. But I’ll be adding a downpipe again this time for sound. |

It is my understanding that the M5CS works exactly the same as well coming from the factory, i.e. white DRLs under normal driving conditions when the regular beams are not on, and yellow DRLs when they are. Maybe it can be coded and you did that?
