Those are all great threads. None mentioning of stone chips. I have a frozen paint on order and would really like to avoid any self inflicted stone chips on the rear panels or the door panels.

Look into PPF right away. These cars will throw rocks even without spacers.

You have seen my car on spacers---- I just walked out to it with over 800 miles on the clock and about 700 with spacers- no chips.

But please remember that road quality and weather play an integral role in chips.

FYI I had spacers on three other OEM Matte cars with no rock chip issues but I did get some front nose chips (nothing to do with spacers)

Damn I hope in the next 15 years I get to drive all those cars.

I do plan to ppf the front and maybe the trunk. New to taking care of matte paints.

Just curious when you took delivery of those matted vehicles , did you let the dealership detailed them before you took delivery. Am I just overly cautions?

I requested the dealer not touch the car, only PDI.

You'll get some additional stuff kicked up yeah. I went with Tommy L Garage's mudflaps on my F80 and they've been awesome. I'll be getting them again once the G80 gets here too. They save a lot crap from hitting the paint.
I went with 15/13 BMS spacers and TLG mud flaps. I have Michelin tires and did not lower. I get no debris kicking up on my car and they actually don't look bad.

I hate my p zeros. My front tire looks like its 2X oversized WIDTH wise. It annoys the heck out of me. I have 1/2 of tire lip rim protection on my front wheels. And my back wheels look square or almost trapezoid. Im not about stretched tires. But I do like how michelins look more / \ on the side wall than my p zeros that look like balloon nascar tires.

One thing that I didn't see mentioned was if you just do spacers and not lower. Unless this car is different for whatever reason, the wheel gap will be more noticeable with the wheels pushed out further and not lowered.

That’s what I was trying to find out if it’s worse with or without spacers. I’m not messing with M3 suspension

I went with 10F and 12R and it was instant regret. I would go with 12F and 15R if you have Pirellis (which I currently have). No rubbing at all. If you have Michelins then go with 15 all around. If you're really set on 12/10 I can sell you my set, it's Macht Schnell. Will give you a good deal.

What do you have on the rear and do you have pics?
Here you go. I agree that 15 mm is not enough in the front. 18F looks perfect to my eye IRL. I am running 18/15 if I remember correctly.

OK just about to order the spacers for the first time.

Just confirming these kits will be perfect for the G82??
