Took delivery yesterday. Some very broad impressions: it is bigger than a G12 but if you are used to driving a G12 you will barely notice. The IAS is very important IMHO and happy they made it standard. I am used to run flats and having non run flats is an eye opener. They are quiet, ride is excellent even in Sport mode. idrive 8 is a radical change from id7; It is going to take some time to figure it out, but if you are used to using a smartphone, it shouldn;t be too hard. Apple play apps appear on one of the screens (other than the actual carplay screen) and you may want to go to your phone settings to eliminate apps you don't use to reduce screen clutter in the car.

Carbon black w/Tartufo. I am very happy with the combination. Front end is not nearly as bad as the trolls would have you believe. Even the grille doesn't look bad in person.

I think the 7s have the best interior BMW has ever made so far.
