Your BMW looks nice! I'm a BMW owner (2022 m4 Comp)only because of the new body style and wheels of the new G80 an G82. If BMW didn't change the body style, I would not of purchased my current vehicle.

Gen question- is there really any great gains in performance lowering a car this much? I’d worry all day I’d rub against a fender over any speed bump or pot hole.

You didn’t answer my question. Race cars are developed low and aerodynamic from the start.

Do people have better handling and performance. If so- any numbers to back it? 14mm - does it improve anything? Any mechanical engineers care to comment if they know?

1) because I feel like it, same reason most people cultivate dad bods lol
2) I am keeping this car and this is just a phase I want to explore. In a year or 2 I will swap it out for a strictly performance based coilover set up and with different wheel/tires to make it more track focused.

So maybe I will go from 5 points of failure to 27 by the end of the year then back down to 1.5 during the 4 quarter of 2024.
