Nope. Unfortunately all I can do is wait. I call genius 3x a week. Nothing they can do. Super irritating watching cars get built and sit 5 days before getting a boat. I stopped checking forums, stopped looking at boat schedules, and I'm about to stop calling genius. The only reason I'm here to reply to you is because I got an email about it.

I submitted a finance app in September that was good through December, any rate drops during that time I got locked into. I'm sure rates have gone up, I want to submit again but also don't want the credit hit if my car takes another 4 months. Just sucks.

Just signed at 5.29%. Over the summer they were 6.99%

Dad mobile level achieved - expert

Took delivery last Saturday. Driving dynamics have exceeded expectations, excruciating to keep under 4K RPMS. Full front XPEL PPF, level 1 paint correction, full ceramic, and tint this week.

Total time from deposit placed (June), to allocation secured (July) to delivery (Dec): 6mos.

Looks really good! I did ppf and ceramic as well. That’s a really quick turnaround time. Mine was almost 18 months

Beautiful, but up to 5,500 rpm is safe during break-in from what I read, hard to stop there even!

Nice! Finance at the dealership contacted BMW and somehow got them to agree to extend my credit app until I take delivery. No idea how they did that but they did. So I'll get whatever the lowest rate is between September - delivery. Pretty awesome dealership. Good to hear rates are dropping too.

It's 5,000 RPM for 0-600 miles
6,000 RPM for 600-1200 miles.

Pg. 282 of manual.

I'm 640 miles behind you!! The weather/temps up here are a bit cold--and with the recent storm, some roads are slightly flooded (but still passable) and fallen tree limbs/debris in the roadway. Hopefully in a few days the temps will be a bit "warmer" and the roadways cleared for some fun.

Still Waiting…. At the port since Oct 17. The dealership where I ordered mine they had 3 in transit last time I spoke with them and they said mine was left but they don’t know the reason… very disappointed… calling the genius is another waste of time…

Sorry to hear that. I believe my friend is also stuck at the port and we had build week 41. Maybe its the color or carbon exterior pack? not sure. Im in south Florida and I dealt with the same thing with the car being at the port for a month and a half but It just arrived to the dealership today.

I have the same problem. At port since 11/12. All of my dealer's other M3's left the port but mine was the only one that didn't.

Mine has multiple in transit as well, I've been there since 10/12.

I can't believe it's been over 2 months. Mine arrived at European port on November 6th and was there only 4 weeks (or less). It arrived Brunswick a few days ago.

Hope your dealer can provide a rational;e explanation for the delay or appropriate compensation.

Yeah the dealership is awesome, they're doing what they can. I submitted financing beginning of September good for 120 days. Finance called BMW and somehow got them to agree to extend my finance approval until I take delivery, which means I get locked into the lowest rate from September through delivery, which is awesome.

And yeah, maybe a bargaining chip at signing, don't really know what I would ask for though, not much anyone can really do. GM already reached out to regional distribution who reached out to BMW in Germany, but it's been about a week since and I'm still sitting there.

I have just really given up at this point. I check once a day, check the forums once a week or so. It'll get here when it gets here I guess!
