Nice. It's getting my hopes up that the monthly for the AWD isn't too much more.

Ordering a G80

Hi All,

Went to my local BMW dealer in Newport Beach. They're listing the M3 they have at 10k over MSRP, also saying that if I order one they'll do 5k over MSRP....sounds like a rip from what I'm seeing on here.

Anyone have any good dealers in CA that they got a good deal with?

They said if I wanted an Individual Color its 5k for any paint, 7500 for frozen, does that sound right? (Frozen dark grey, Oxford Green is what I asked about)

I would be looking to finance not lease

Any thoughts would be appreciated

They sound like you should tell them to jog on!

Frozen should be $4500 along with most paints that are not new. I think they are trying to get as much money as possible!

Haha - thats what I figured.

My build:

- Manual :-)
- individual color - probably the frozen grey
- orbit gray wheels
- Black interior
- Piano Black trim
- AC Seats
- Black Calipers

Assuming the Frozen individual color is 4500 that brings my MSRP to 77,130. Based on what I'm seeing here I'd expect 5%-8% off so 73,300 - 71,000

That sounds realistic or just wishful thinking?

You might be able to get some off but most people on the west coast are lucky to get MSRP. I'm hopeful for you though!

That's what I've seen for AZ as well. I'm at MSRP for my order with Chapman in Chandler.

Seems too good to pass up...

Currently active duty military on orders in Germany. The standard BMW military sales here is 10% off MSRP + 300 shipping fee. If you "demo" the car for 2,500 miles + 4 months, then it's an additional 5% off. This is in addition to not having to pay sales tax (in most cases as long as it's registered at least 6 months in Germany before returning it to the states).

I'm really on the fence. I want to either get the 6MT or order the xdrive 3MC. Is it really too good to pass up or would it be possible to find similar deals back in the states? From what I'm seeing on this thread, doesn't seem like getting less than MSRP is common...also considering not having to pay ~5K sales tax.

Sounds like you can save about $15k if you don't wait to buy stateside. That's not chump change.

. The deal is really too good to pass up. I’m going to be picking up and M3C with X-drive from what I assume is the same dealership. I’m going to be passing up on the additional 5% of to demo it though.

Larger vs smaller markets - which has the better discount likelihood vs which are you more likely to pay close to MSRP?

Just heard back from Clutch. Def the way to go if they service your area. 7% off MSRP plus the 500 loyalty. Certainly not the deal I got when they were dumping 2018s a couple years ago. But for a brand brand new car that is being sold at MSRP or above in my location and others on the west coast, seems like a reasonable deal.

Been speaking with Abe at Clutch for the past few days. I just finalized with them. Definitely the way to go. I guess me riding out my lease on my M550 isn't gonna happen...

Love this spec. I'm seriously considering the same exact color combo but I'm stuck on the wheels. Can't decide between the 825 Bi-Color or the 826 Bi-Color.

I've had black wheels on my previous 2 cars (Alfa Giulia QV and F82), so I'm thinking maybe the 825s just for variety's sake but I'm torn....

For some reason I don't mind looking at specs with black wheels, but can't bite the bullet to own it. Maybe I just enjoy the design of the 826 and I feel it gets lost in black.

Something about the 825 works really well with Tanzanite, but being so two toned silver/black pushed me away.

This car is STRESSFUL to spec with all the amazing options.

Honestly I don't see any OC/LA dealer giving any sort of discount anytime soon for the m3/m4.

markets completely different here and wish those that receive 10% discounts mention it's from a dealer in Delaware lol

Good deal is relative in this suggestion, but Beverly Hills BMW was a pleasure to work with before for my m340i and I confirmed with them that they're moving all M3/4 cars at sticker.

I agree about the 825. I personally never cared for the 666... BMW and their geometric busy designs. The 826 was a bit better and had I gone with the red, I may very well have done the 826 too. But with Portimao, I think the 825 orbit compliments it better. I have yet to see a photo with 825m orbit grey on PB. Based on all the images I see people buying with 826's, it will also be a bit more unique. I did not want the silver/black either and the orbit grey still has a bit of a darkness to it without being black. On Tanz it really looks nice! I would have preferred they left out the polished edging, but with you removing the shadowline, that would compliment it even more!

They are my local dealer too. And that's why I drove to Riverside BMW to buy my M2. Currently though, Riverside is not any better...they are asking 20k over sticker for AWD allocations and 10k over for whatever is on the lot or a current allocation.

Brokers and PCD is the way to go. Even with shipping costs you'll end up saving.
