My dealer reckons no delivery this week, let’s see if he gets the car Friday or not.

If he does, will try push him to collect it Sunday 😁
I think the dealer will be right and it is still in Germany.
I would imagine car are scanned on and off the ship for traceability, but whether or not that updates BMWs system in real time I don’t know.
In reality unless they ship by tomorrow I can’t see them being here this week. It’s a shame because I booked this week off work to ceramic coat it lol, instead all I am doing is watching ships

You see I actually think genius is right.

They’re saying my car arrived at Southampton on the 5th. And when I was looking at ships prior to this date there was a ship arriving from cuxhaven to Southampton on the 5th. There’s not many ships from cuxhaven to Southampton. Also a member on m3cutters forum stated a batch of the CS’s arrived at Southampton recently.

I think my dealer is confused with the status codes. When it arrives at cuxhaven it goes to 193, then 194 and then back to 193 when it arrives at port of destination. He probably thinks 193 is still Cuxhaven.

I hope you are right but I don’t think it goes back to 193.
196 Shipment Arrival at destination port Is the code when it arrives at port?

See the pictures.

Every day I contact genius they say the same thing. Also read somewhere that the code reverts back to 193 when it’s placed in storage. I.E offloaded of the ship.

Which dealer did you secure from?

What’s their input on the expected delivery date?

Stratstone Derby.
They are still saying delivery this week.
The dealer thinks it’s at sea, not sure where he gets that information

Talk of the devil I’ve just had this email from my dealer.

One of our dealers is right.

Hopefully yours 😁

If I didn’t have one coming, after today’s gushing EVO review, I’d be scrambling to find one. Are any of these cars still available in the US at MSRP?

Mine just got to the dealer last night just before they closed. They’re PDI’ing the car today. Downside is I don’t have time until Friday afternoon to go pick it up. Another long couple days.

0-5K markup is what I’ve seen.
I personally believe given the economy and current interest rates, they won’t go much beyond that. Although fantastic, it’s a hell of a lot of money for an M3 targeted for a niche customer. Had this been peak covid, these cars would be fetching well behind 20k markup.

I’ve been on the hunt for one of these and some of the mark ups I’ve seen recently have been insane. One dealer in the northeast asking for 30k, a few 15k. Was able to get one down to 6k but it seems that the in stock and available ones especially on the East Coast stil have pretty high ADM. Granted not sure if that’s what people are paying for them but at least what the sales people are telling me.

The two 15k ones that they refused to lower for me sold very quickly too.

Yeah I’m seeing 30k ADMs. 10k Adm cars sold pretty fast.

For as long as you’ve been waiting, I figured you were going to pitch a tent and wait at the dealer.

It’s an unsual purchase in the sense that its not from my regular/local dealer, so it’s a 2 hour drive. Therefore I need to do it near the weekend when I’m not working.

Believe me if I could get it Monday I would!

Any CS owners notice that the rear calipers are missing the “///M” clips on the rear brakes? Or is it just mine that somehow didn’t get them?
