Well kinda worked out for y'all to be on the Victoria Highway. Sirius Highway made an unexpected stop in Baltimore, now leaving and supposed to hit Galveston 4/8, Victoria Highway 4/12. So skipping Sirius you didn't really loose any time.

I've been refreshing the recall tool every 10 mins or so all day. lol

I was off all last week but when I got to work today I checked and saw that the 4 other cars that were at port with me all got cleared and delivered. Mine is the only one left. What's even funnier is mine was the first car that got its VIN too.

We got there the same day and are waiting for the same things. Figured they got all the RAM only cars out then just put us on the backburner. Hopefully we get out of there this week.

I haven't even bothered to call the Genius because they know about as much as us at this point. I'll just end up wasting 20 minutes on hold for them to tell me the work order was opened 2 weeks ago etc....

Every time I talk to them I am more aware of my vehicle status than they are. They tried telling me vehicles with stop sales get parts first. I asked why they are building vehicles everyday with same specs and no stop sales yet I wait.

Very frustrating to say the least.

I’ve been waiting at port since 03/7/22. I don’t know what is going on. I was in quality control for 4 months and now I’ve waited almost another month waiting for transport. It’s so hard to get excited anymore….

Man that sucks that you are still waiting at port in Germany for a month. Here I am complaining that my car is sitting at the Galveston port for 2 weeks... I guess we are all in a long waiting period.
I think these delays and lack of information is going to hurt BMW brand badly.

Mine has been showing "At the Port" since Feb 2 (9 weeks and counting). However, I was also told that my car is not actually at the port, but at some compound. BMW Genius said my car is in Dingolfing (which is the town where one of their production plants is located). My CA confirmed that my car is at a "holding area offsite location from port with others waiting to be transported and assigned to a vessel".

My car never had any stop sales (not now, not before at any point throughout the production process).

Next 2 boats coming to Galveston depart Bremerhaven on April 15 and 18.
