In the end, I ended up just paying cash as I told them I wouldn't pay over the 5.29% I have heard others get.
Dealers seem to be playing more games than ever before. I will bring my own financing or pay cash. I won't even bother applying BMWFS.

You have to be diligent. Event on the silly protection package the Finance person said she was "giving me" on the first set of paperwork she actually increased my cash due by the $699 cost of the package. I called her on it and she blamed it on the CA and removed the charge and then gave me the package on next pass. She never could explain how she reduced the sale tax to compensate for the $699. BTW, I wouldn't have paid $50 for this BS package.

I know all about the 3-4 payment thing and, maybe, but I understand they have targets and directives that need to be met too and pretty much all have treated me well in the process. For me I agree to their bump and don't care because I immediately pay off the whole car except for the 3-4 payments worth and it costs me hardly anything interest wise and they get their bonus.

Wow....aint it rare for dealerships to beat others in trade in value? I approach it assuming I'm going to be lowballed out the gate. I'd probably take that deal and run.

You always want to check CarMax against Carvana, etc. Their bids depend on their current local inventory. I have seen as much as 15% difference in bids between them all.
