Only thing im worried about is the front grill, but at $330 I’ll take the chance and if it doesn’t work grab a legit V grill.
How did the grill pan out?

Ended up ordering most pieces. Heres the invoice with shipping to Germany included (keep in mind this doesn't include VAT, which I will probably have to pay).

From his pictures this is an actual steal if the prices are the same.
They used the same vendor that Stinkyweasel did. Link is in the post.

Do you have the name of the vendor? The link for Alibaba gives a 404 error message. I'm interested in checking this vendor out!

Were you able to find the vendor and did you order it?

Has anybody have any luck with the Chinese brand CF?

Check the other recent thread in this forum mentioning CF from eBay.

They all come from china, trouble is weeding out the junk rejects from quality stuff. That $500 dry carbon v-style grill from ebay is 100% a reject with scratches and wavey carbon near the pdc sensor, i've had two of those.

Things like lips and spoilers are easy to manufacture so getting junk is highly unlikely, but the higher detail stuff like grills, inlets and mirror caps you don't want to skimp money on.
I ordered a grill/inlets from ebay, a local guy and even a vendor and the quality was junk, they all refunded me so i didn't loose much. A 4th grill is coming now...

Here's my adventure with carbon.

First one just came in now from nw carbon haus, perfect carbon weave around the pdc sensor. The way nw carbon haus explained it is the pdc sensor gets its own small patch of carbon and the carbon on the grill has a hole cutout for the pdc sensor, after its compressed it comes out perfectly. While the second and third grill has one piece of carbon and its stretched over the pdc sensor giving you that wavey pattern.
Second one is from a US vendor, this one also had a scratch on the front part, hard to see but it was there.
Third is from a local guy, not sure where he got it, this one also had a scratch and other carbon defects.
Fourth is from ebay, wet carbon, complete disaster.

Messaged Dongsai Jack for a Dongsai grill and he told me to holler at NW Carbon Haus...so I ordered the JCSportline one below.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/28515374906...mis&media=COPY

Anyone try this one or any of their stuff? There is a JCSportline thread but it's dead.

Why didn't you listen to Dongsai Jack?
Never ordered from JCSportline but from the pics that looks like a first gen grill without any tabs, so either held in with screws or tape. In this case it has tape around it, so make sure to line it up correctly because you won't get another chance to pull it out and redo it, that tape just won't let go.

I'm a cheap fuck, I guess. I was looking for a deal, not a link. Not gonna lie though, I'm not liking what I'm hearing but I'm having a shop do it so I hope they do it right. Got a killer deal but if the quality is ass then it'll go back before it's ever installed and I might turn to NW CH or just stay stock. I like it as it is.

Post some pics when you get it, the easiest grills to install are the one piece ones which snap in just like the stock one. The two piece ones with tabs need to be screwed into the stock tabs, while yours needs tape.

Will do. Who sells one-piece CF grills?

Edit: looks like it's the CSL-style grills? Not a fan of those.

Those may be worth waiting for.

I feel good about my purchase but you got me worried about that install. I'm not a fan of anything permanent (don't tell my wife I said that). May tell them to put the tape on top and bottom only.

It might not be permanent just a pita to take off.

I didn't question him so I'm not sure what the motivator was in him referring me to NW CH but that's what he did. He referred to NW CH as their "dealer". Maybe Dongsai is no longer dealing with consumers directly but rather through a third party vendor. That's the vibe I got. Told me to name-drop when messaging them and they'll take care of me.
