I think either Fiona or KO would look great with Tanz. I don't think of Fiona over Tanz as a Superman/Spiderman combo at all.

I had something similar on my F80 - Sakhir Orange over Azurite and it was stunning.

I remember your f80. What are you going with now?

Thanks! I considered going Fiona over Tanz to try to recreate that car...but went with KO over Portimao this time. In production now!

Shot of my Tanzantize Blue G80 on the Old Pacific Hwy Sydney, only had it for about 6 weeks and loving it. All black interior with carbon exterior, seats and CC brakes (as theres no such thing as to much carbon)

If your dealer is cooperative, you might try riding around with those color swatches for a couple/few days. Before I ordered my M4, I intended to order an M3 in Dravit Grey; it was down to Tartufo or KO for the interior color. After riding around with a KO leather swatch for a bit, I reached a conclusion. It helped to see it in my peripheral vision (swatch on the passenger seat) in various lighting. You might evolve your perceptions and preference with a little 'seat time' with each color.

Tanzanite over Fiona red looks incredible in real life, I saw this very spec at the track a few months ago. Tanzanite looks quite dark, but glorious deep metallic blue in direct sunlight. I'm going tanzanite over red when I replace my current 3'er I think.

And yet you ultimately went with Silverstone!

IDK, I think I may play it safe and go back to the Silverstone camp despite having the same combination (Tanzanite over Silverstone) on one of my F80s. I think the G8x interior (full leather) is different enough to not make it seem too much of the same. Ultimately, I think the Kyalami's orange bottom dash in full leather is just too much orange. I think the full Silverstone is more balanced overall. Additionally, this isn't a lease, so I need to consider future potential buyers—then again, who am I kidding as I would trade it in somewhere.

Yes, I switched from Tartufo to Silverstone, as soon as I switched from an M3 to an M4; likewise, Dravit became Tanzanite. As mentioned before, my first M3 (an E36 was Avus Blue over Dove Gray; so the G82 color combination is a reprisal. Now that we can ceramic coat both paint and leather, I'm unconcerned about maintaining light-colored leather dye long term (ditto dark metallic paints).

A side benefit of Silverstone (ok, two) is it goes so well with carbon fiber and matte silver trim, plus it keeps the ambiance light despite no moonroof (I kept the carbon fiber roof, as most do).

I really love the full leather Silverstone interior on my G80 as well. It really does go well with the interior design and as you said, helps brighten up the interior a bit when keeping the CF roof.

Only found a few processed pictures and was worried sick about the end product. Turns out stealth TB2 is also breathtaking, especially close in person.

Looks interesting in stealth.

Why do you have both the stock spoiler and the flow through M performance spoiler on there?

Dealer refused to remove the spoiler stating it's gonna take the paint with it. However they offered to rewrap my trunk lid if I find somebody else to remove the spoiler :

Very strange…unless BMW switched to using a liquid adhesive, it should be held on via 3M tape. Just need to take a heat gun and heat it up and then something like fishing line and remove it. Pretty straightforward. Of corse with the stealth PPF on there you'd need to have the trunk redone.

I thought that was tape as well but didn't want to force them to do something they are not comfortable with. Just a problem getting PPF at dealerships I guess

There was a post elsewhere that BMW switched from adhesive tape on 2021s to something stronger on 2022s, such that removing the OEM spoiler is much more difficult nowadays. (The extra effort is in removing the residual adhesive.)

With both spoiler and wing, you have the 911 GT3 look, so there's that.
