I have mixed feelings about the DRLs, but what I definitely do not like about the new headlights is that they are now 2 LED lens illuminating vs. the 4 on the current models.

Yup. When I had my M2C, the fake inner angel eyes/lens bothered me.
Almost as much as the fake exhaust shape on the lower-end Merc C classes.

there are rumors that the front bumper will undergo a slight change, as well as the tail lights and maybe? also the rear bumper.

Oh, so, you really believe they are parading these semi-updated models 6 months before production start and with the G20 LCI long time released, and the "rumors" about tail end update...

Whatever is camouflaged is getting minor tweaks to call it an LCI, lights and ID8.5 is the only real update along with the +20HP paperwork...

Question should be -- any additional "standard" colors and wheels choices?

Our resident insider said the MY25 G20 will be getting interior material and trim updates which goes into production 7/24...same month as the G80 LCI.

So from what I am reading, anything manufactured in the year 2024 will have the current look & Jan 1st, 2025 will have the new proposed front end update?

Only looking for clarification because I love the current look, and I am still waiting on allocation for my build.

Not sure where you’re reading that, but G82/G83 will get LCI and MY changeover in March 2024 production, G80/G81 in July 2024 Production. And there is no “front end update”, just new headlight design.

Front end update, just speculation because they camo'd out everything, even though we can clearly see the new headlights. Thanks for the time stamps though.

Yeah we don't know exactly if the bumper changes at all...it doesn't look like it from the camo pics though but then why add camo?

Looks are subjective but bad design with conflicting shapes and lines are objectively bad. Compare the top half of the grille to the bottom. It's uneven.

It would have to be VERY slight as the shape under the camo looks exactly the same.
