I think you should swap it with a model of Robert Kubica's 2007 BMW Sauber. More fitting 😜

I have the same exact water filter system. I also got a new pressure washer with it and a new hose to feed the pressure washer from the Filter output. Just to ensure no dirty water gets into the filtered hoses and pressure washer. Lasts about 4-5 washes or so before i start seeing numbers on the sensor. I'd say definitely worth it. I personally don't let it air dry as there will be very tiny spots on the windows but the paint is usually fine. We have hard water here

Funny, I saw your car yesterday when I stopped in to get Mike to fix something on mine. I was admiring your car as I have not seen a vert yet in person. I live in Cumming, you close to there?

Another G8x customer for Mike!
There's a spot on the bottom corner of the lower grill area that's lifting so I asked Mike if he can cut it off and top of off with another layer.
Without hesitation he said he'll replace the whole piece.
What a great customer service.
Can't recommend him enough.

Lol. That explains why he's doing a full detail inside and out when I bring my car in for one last small fix on the rear diffuser. More business for him. Did you recommend this Vert to him?

This is why I like working with Mike on my cars, he never hesitates to fix something if needed. Standup guy and business.

We have very hard water here in AZ and this thing was a game changer.

My wash area (driveway) gets direct sunlight most of the day. So of course the car/paint gets warm while washing and when I'm done and pull it into the garage to dry off some parts would already be dry and then water spots. Not anymore with this system. It was also amazing being able to just blow off the water on my wheels versus basically having to go back and detail them due to all the water spots.

I'll be curious to see how many washes I get before having to replace the resin but so far extremely happy with the system.

When do you typically swap out the cartridges? The instructions said anything other than 0 on the meter means there is a chance of water spots but curious how far you can usually take it before it's basically useless.

I check it every time when im filling buckets. After I think 4-5 washes you'll start to see it go up but usually only like single digits. Then like teens. I haven't ever gone above like 20. It's not going to ramp up straight from 0 to like 100 or anything in one wash. And even still when it was 0-20 I couldn't notice any difference. But I decided that the filter media was spent and ordered new ones. The first time I physically refilled the media with the bags but the second time I bought the 2 new filters and then you remove your 2 old ones and put them in bags and send them back. It was a little cheaper this option.

No I didn't. Just figured he was at Dynamic Auto Spa reading your post.

Yeah he is always willing to correct any minor issues I might raise.
I also do my due diligence; I fix edges that lift slightly, lay painters tape on top to help them settle, etc.
I even bought a bottle of pro bond to fix tight edges and wraparounds.
But this one spot appeared after about a month and a half sitting in the garage and no way I could fix it.
30 seconds after sending a text he says he'll replace the whole piece.
I won't hesitate to bring my next car to him.

How's your G80 treating you btw?

For you guys that are using CR Spotless, it may save you a lot of media, if you only final rinse the car with the di water. You don't need to wash the whole car with it. You're just wasting media.

Really happy that I found him - he seems like a great guy. Had a ridiculous Viper in the shop when I dropped mine off.
