Two weeks of G80 M3C ownership and about 300 miles of seat time.
'Creeking' noise(s) from front dash absolutely driving me insane. At least one source seems localized to AREA of central speaker in front dash. Lots of discussion (threads) on this topic in the G-series subforms. 'Solution' below seemed correspond to at least one problem at hand. Exact same speaker/speaker cover as in G80/82. Executed task. . . ZERO SUCCESS ///AVM https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1652142 UPDATE: The source of creeks can be hard to identify, especially when driving as they occur. While driving today, I went to adjust my seating posture and pushed out agains the seat bolster next to the center console . . . CREEK. Pushing outward against the bolster produced the creek repeatedly. Unfortunately, pushing outward not required and the creek occurs spontaneously and continuously with routine driving. So, good news is that the creek was identified. Bad news is I see no way to remedy the problem at the current time. UPDATE II: Somewhere between 400 and 600 miles of ownership, the seat creek spontaneously disappeared and has not returned after some 1,300 miles. The bad news is there persists an annoying as hell creek in the center console area. Last edited by ///AVM; 05-28-2021 at 01:29 PM.. Reason: Update of information |

Attempted to edit post #191 and add outdoor pics below for outdoor (real world) perspective . . . for whatever reason, could not get pics to attach to the post.
Berger Motorsports Spacers 15mm front 13mm rear ~500 miles since taking ownership Front springs have settled 7-9mm to date by my measurement. Combined (spacers/settling), the front gap more acceptable according to my subjectivities. With tincture of time, anticipate the front gap will settle out close to my ideal. |

If I turn sharply in reverse I intermittently notice some VERY mild rub on driver's side. . . turn steering wheel sharply CLOCKWISE. If there is a similar rub on passenger side, it has escaped my perception from the driver's seat. Perhaps I have not yet turned the steering wheel sharply enough counterclockwise in reverse??? No rub otherwise, regardless of load or bumps at any speed. Personally, the described rub in reverse is of zero concern to me . . . I understand you and other drivers may feel differently and may decide upon a slightly less aggressive set-up (e.g., 13F/10R). Hope that helps. ///AVM |

Got it. My only initial concern was that it may require more effort to start the car while depressing the clutch. But if it isn't presenting a problem, then it's all good!

Pulled out the charcoal filters.
Definitely adds some sound in the low rpm's, Especially when you're in the wrong gear and lugging. Also seems to add some spool down sound when letting off. The actual filter housing is "welded" into the intake, but it looks like the engineers were planning on us removing them because you can very easily slide them out of their housing. Worth the 10 mins I guess. 100% easier job than on the f8x cars. No brace removal necessary. |

This is my first m4 so I've never tried the ps4s but I've heard that people were worried the performance increase over the g82 and f82 was due majorly because of the p-zeros and want a comparison of both cars while they're running the same tires ive spent 900 miles in mine grinding the break-in period and have been sending it into corners in a way I imagined was impossible on my previous 440 (not a comment on the ps4s but just an example of how great the p-zeros are) |

I spent two days (24 and 25 april) and 190 miles racing while at VIR.... G80 was a Monster.... so ridiculously easy to stretch it out, 3rd, 4th, 5th... threshold braking, Pilot sports hung in there all weekend, going back in June. Then drove home for 4 hours in the comfort and averaged 29 MPG... What more could you want!!!
