picked mine up today - MSRP - Black / Gold / Steelies.

now to break it in per protocol... ish. and to get rid of the red accents, I think.

Initial impressions after 2 day vs 718 GT4::

Seats are tight even in my skinny thighs. Less comfortable than my Porsche buckets (that don’t recline at all). Wasn’t expecting that.

Crazy fast. Builds speed effortlessly, with the auto trans and turbo power down low I’m having to be really careful with my speed. I can’t wait for break-in to be done so I can feel what it can really do.

infotainment is way more involved than my last BMWs (2016 M3 and M6 or 2019 x1). I mostly use CarPlay in the GT4 and finding basic car info (tire pressures, odometer!, etc is much easier on the more analog GT4). I think I’ll learn how to break down the 3CS but more of a learning curve. HK sound is adequate. Leaps and bounds over the Bose in the GT4.

Interior trim is what you’d expect.. lots of leather and CFRP which is great.

Mechanical grip and chassis feel really good but haven’t pushed it at all really. Very responsive front end. Smooth ride and not super harsh over seams/etc, but def not “plush”

Steering wheel is comfortable, will probably wear driving gloves to help minimize tedious alcanrara maintenance.

Much quieter interior than the GT4, for good or bad. Exhaust/engine sound is minimal. With auto start and standing outside the car is pretty quiet. I’m okay with that, a loud i6 M3 isn’t really something I’m after.

Pretty low in the front but I can actually get it into my driveway (had to build custom ramps for my GT4 lol).

Gotta get some tint to reflect heat. Maybe get expel to keep the black paint looking good for years to come.

120miles down so 1/10 of the way there!

Does anyone know if the CS comes with a voucher for the M Driver’s Course at the Performance Center? The press release from BMW for the CS mentions the car comes with the Drivers Package as standard which would include the voucher. Wanted to see if anyone has asked their CA to try and redeem it.

All CS cars do. Just cause BMW performance center with the vin, your SA doesn’t need to give you anything.

My frozen white is in transit as of yesterday, just be a few weeks out.

Yeah just call the performance center. I recommend calling, not the website, there seems to be more availability then advertised.

It’d be great to know more about this clothing credit. My CA knows nothing of this. Didn’t see anything via Google either. Maybe more of a specific dealer program?

Ive had my car for almost two weeks and havent pushed it that hard and only have 400 miles. But the thing is a damn beast. Lots of power and just wants to go fast. Extremely precise and scary quick. Also rides very well in comfort. Loving it so far
