Interesting. The two links you shared earlier don't seem to be real time, and the tracking tools I'm using show these two at Bremerhaven or just outside. I'll just look to you for proper ship tracking.

Yeah if your using something like vesselfinder it does show them right outside of Bremerhaven currently for real time. I usually like to see them updated on the shipping company schedule. These schedules do change often.

Well, I'm going to jump on the Kahalua80 train for current, accurate info as well. Here's my thought for the day. My build was 7/4. Went to "at the port" on 7/13. That's a week tomorrow. With two boats leaving Bremerhaven this week, one on Thursday and one on Friday, both bound for Baltimore, my fingers are crossed. With a typical delay of 1-2 days after the ship leaving before the status is updated, then I will pretty much figure that both ships left without my car if my status isn't updated by Monday 7/25. My ship has always been half full my whole life, very rarely has it been half empty. It will remain half full until at least the 25th!

When are you all waiting to apply for a rate? I'm gunshy because of delays but was hoping to apply once I hit in transit

Sales manager ran mine last week because they were locking me in with 3.49% no matter what.

I'll be applying to credit unions, so maybe now is a good time to lock something in. Considering we're at the port the likelihood of a 3 month delay is low

I’m sharing this information with you in the hopes it’ll help you avoid being frustrated by delays and misinformation. Most, not all have about a 3-4 week wait at the port to catch a ship. Once your car is on a ship a genius will be able to tell you that same day which ship it’s on, not a two day delay, that’s part of the old system. Keep a close eye on the weeks immediately preceding yours and watch their patterns/wait times. Your build will most likely follow the same pattern. Good luck and keep hope alive!!

So Brooklands and Morning Peace have made it to Bremerhaven port. Both scheduled to depart 22 July. Like any lottery a lot of us will enter but only a few will win. Baltimore bound cars have better odds because both ships have port calls their. Cars destined for the Brunswick GA and Charleston SC Port will have a chance on Brooklands. Some of us will stay at the port multiple weeks but I would be happy to see any of us week27 folks catch a ride this week.

Just don't make yourselves crazy if you don’t make it on those two ships, there are a few cars in front of you. Your cars are coming, just not today so keep hope alive!!

As always thanks for the updated info. Fingers crossed some of us make it. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed like there were quite a few more ships Bremerhaven-to-Baltimore-bound that were to follow these two in the next few weeks, yeah?

EDIT: Also, for what it's worth (maybe nothing at all), it seems like both ships *may* be relatively empty since they came from ports that may not have that many cars for transit across the ocean. Maybe I'm not reading into that correctly, and/or maybe there are so many cars sitting at port from not just BMW but other European brands that it really doesn't matter. Either way, patience.

Thanks Mark, but I for one am not driving myself any where near crazy. My G83 is my fifth BMW that I have watched from afar during it's journey from Germany into my garage. Far from crazy, it's always a source of entertainment, that and assembling parts/accessories for my car before my car gets here. Go out and put some miles on your new G83, and enjoy it. We will be doing the same and in the not too distant future.

Can you elaborate? Next ship will arrive in Germany in August or car will be slated for delivery on the East Coast in August?
