It is completely flush and leaves an opening for the rubber strip to come through and slots into the small welded bracket. I think it is unnoticeable, especially when you have a front splitter.

Yes it does, it's just on the bottom. If you look closely you can see it's there and also that it's holding the plate up off the table.

I've scraped a couple times on my driveway (though it's a bit steep) where I didn't before I installed it and don't now with the Zunsport. It was almost certainly the air dam since it was lower with the Mishimoto, but I have had an issue.

Haha, I purchased one and then found out about the 8-10. I think EAS said in the past they fill orders quicker than what ETA’s Mishimoto give’s, usually just to be safe they’ll give a conservative time frame which I respect.

I purchased one direct from Mishi 12/22, received the same “out of stock, 8-10 weeks” email 12/26, but they managed to get in a batch and ship me one on 1/4. It is arriving today, 1/11. Not terrible for “8-10 weeks”.

Yeah not bad at all! Cheers! Make sure to give feedback when you get it installed!

I’m not sure I have seen anyone answer the question about the mishimoto and the M Performance splitter.
Had mine thrown on and the dealer was quite amazed with the fitment. Well clear of the M lip. |

They did also install the rubber piece as well. Before anyone mentions that it’s missing in the picture

I personally wouldn't install that rubber piece, that metall lip is enough imo.

I see what you are saying, but look at the 2nd pic in post 199. It’s not there? Perhaps people are putting it on upside down? If the standoff metal piece were facing downward, it seems to serve no purpose other than hanging on stuff or scraping. Maybe it’s meant to face up and serve as a stand off to prevent the gaurd from being bent upward? No idea. Would be nice to know, as it looks like a great option if it werent for the metal standoff hanging down.

I have the Mishimoto. Never scraped it. I plan to put a turner lip on- it’s only been in my guest room 3 months lol. I still think I’ll be fine. Stock at the moment.

Do you know where he will post the video? I’m not on facebook. That piece is my only concern given my car is lowered. I could see that square piece grabbing a driveway curb or other lip and ripping the thing right off. weight of car plus strong welded piece, concrete curb, the weakest link in the equation is the body bolts threaded into the car. Maybe its not the lowest point and it just looks that way in the pic?

The rubber air deflector is a very important piece of the equation as it creates a vacuum to pull hot air out of the cooler. Any design that deletes it without a comparable dam is no bueno.
