I will check with MSS directly
True, $460 is a bit much.

Contact MSS first and relay that message to Evolve to see why you're being charged when the kit is free.
Who has told you that it's free?

I assumed it was but was shocked when I heard the price. $460 is more than most lowering kits! All this is is a couple of modified parts

Added the winter matts and removed the M Performance ones. They are kind of expensive but very well made and look very nice

MSS just confirmed the kit is not free…

They said they have had no complaints about the original kit and this newly offered kit is an enhancement for Track

The thick plottens

That's just BS. Did they say how much it'll cost?

There is an alternative way to make the car lower if you prefer, it's known as the "Ben mod" for the MSS kit. If you look at Vic's (forum member here) car he has done it, his drop looks good. It takes away the adjustability though and you can't use the stock dust boot either.

It's bullshit that you even have to do that though... Basically an overpriced set of springs without the adjustment in the front.

I didn't ask them but as mentioned Evolve said $460 shipped so I suspect it's in and around there

I saw the modification that was done by Ben and Vic etc but I really don't feel like I should have to modify a brand new (expensive) suspension kit…

First and last time using this brand I think

I agree. Maybe an oversight while trying to rush to be the first on the market. The update should be free to everyone. That's just BS.

Understood. Worst case scenario if you don't want to dish out the $460. I'd be extremely pissed.

When I purchased my kit I went in with the full intent there will be an update and it was going to be free, otherwise I would have gone with KW.

MST is always first to market as they don't need to make bespoke springs like everyone else. Just get a car in see what fits off the shelf maybe manufacture spring seats if required and send it out the door. Priced right where impatient first owners will lap it all up. Not the first time.

I have contacted Evolve and am waiting for their response. I would be pissed too if they charge $460 for the Free upgrade. I will try to contact William @MSS the owner and get an answer.

You might have a case if you bought it and were led to believe the fix would be free

While I generally agree, I've got it sorted with the use of a lot of the OG tools. Lambskin finger mit, Incredibrushes, and detailing brushes for the lugs, then wheel towels for final drying (after blow dry). Actually isn't too bad. Kind of therapeutic/rewarding.

Actually if you have bad back/knees it is pretty punishing. Worst part of washing the car for me is the wheels. Still spring cannot come early enough to see them back on (or finally wash the car for that matter).

I am literally using all of those same items, including the air cannon I got from adams. I don’t know what brush it is but it reminds me of a cat toy was by far the best to use to get into those spokes.
