@wtwo3, until now I was only breathless during and because this (your) thread. Now I finally "recovered" and, as someone who was so often disappointed of car enthusiasts' meetings, your kind of story with the pictures was the most amazing of all of them!

Though only virtually, I experienced with joy and happiness all steps of your wonderful car's delivery, the accommodation and even the food!

I think I've come back to this thread about ten times now. This is one of my favorite G80 builds. The combo of Oxford Green with the Tartufo and the 826M wheels is ridiculous. Congrats on the whole adventure and hope you are enjoying this car for years to come.

Yup just told my dealer I already had plates I wanted to transfer over from my previous car, so they handled all of that and I simply took my plates with me on the plane. You complete the sale at the dealer about a week before your trip, so all registration, tax, title, etc is completed by the time you go pick up the car. Then the trip is more or less hassle free, you simply take delivery of your new car.

I went with Anderson in Crystal Lake. Car should be here in 6 or so months. Went with a G87. Already found a friend thats down for PCD with me and we already planned the trip even though its a bit aways. He has a E90 335d so if its fully done by then were taking it otherwise were flying.

I wanted the E46 M3 but settled for a 2001 330i MT with sport and premium package which was a great drive and I loved it.

On to G80 M3 I have already put in 1K miles of spirited driving for the break in period 😁

Saw your plate...haha!

Statistically...and by the eyeballs...after near 3 seasons Fields is a bottom third QB and absolute worst in 4th quarter...dude needs TO GO!!! Poles needs to trade Bustin and start fresh with CW...and I believe he will...no way can risk another year of mediocrity out of the slowest drop slowest read longest hold QB in the land.
