Not trying to air out any dirty laundry but I placed an order through someone that I believed worked for a vendor. I have been buying parts from him for years now and simply text him what I need and pay him via PayPal invoice. On November 22nd I ordered a KW HAS kit and the AA single midpipe. The HAS kit showed up very quickly, but I knew I had to wait for the AA midpipe. I called AA yesterday asking for an update and Rob told me he has nothing under my name and the vendor I thought I used doesn't either. Looks like the person I've been texting parted ways with the vendor recently and had been sourcing parts through other means. He was looking to get the AA midpipe through someone else but it never came to fruition.

While it's a bit shady, I'm not interested in back alley deals and would prefer to keep things kosher. I requested a cancellation and a refund (I'll probably have to fight for it), and ordered through the vendor he claimed to have worked for just to actually support them.. so hopefully Andrew@ActiveAutowerke and AA can help me out and maybe jump me ahead in the queue :/ it was requested through Rob via email already but I'd be a bit sad if I don't receive it any time soon as I'm scheduled to do all my mods at once since I don't have any free time thanks to an extremely needy baby at home + new business ventures.

Since it is first come first serve, I don't think they can have your order shipped before others that were actually placed. One solution would be if your vendor placed a stocking order and they still have some left to give out.

I might be wrong but I don't think Auto Talent stocks Active midpipes.

With that being said and knowing how long you have been waiting for your part, im more than happy to give you one of the midpipes we are getting built. I still have some left that is unclaimed

You won't need to change anything with your order as I don't want any profit from it. You'll keep your order with Auto Talent and I give Andrew permission to use one of my midpipes to fulfill their order.

Double check with Rob and let me know

Any word on when they will start to add the resonator to the single mid pipe? They speak about it being an option "in the future".

Also have they started shipping the bracket with the new orders or are they still on back order?

Not sure about the resonators but I hope they wait on that until they are caught up on orders.

I'm used to full systems so piecing together parts/brands is new to me.
Can I use the single mid-pipe and then some time later down the road, if I wanted the Remus axle back or any other axle back, it could be fitted? Ultimately I want a midpipe with the flexibility to add an axle back but worried that the length of it won't match/reach the AA mid-pipe. Should i be concerned?

REMUS axle-back and active autowerke midpipe are compatible; no need to worry about the fitment.
This would not apply to all brands; if you change your mind in the future, I recommend you make sure the two brands you are getting fit together.

Since you are doing the midpipe first, you will need to cut the stock axle back and use the provided clamps to fit the midpipe to it.

Once its time to upgrade the axle back, you will disconnect the stock axle back, replace it with the new axle-back, and re-use the same clamps or the new ones provided by the new axle-back

here is an install video of the midpipe with the stock axle back

and here is another video showing how to add an aftermarket axle-back to the active autowerke midpipe

Came home to a nice surprise last night. Birthday came 4 days early--thanks Mike! Can confirm the package does not come with the brace from Active at this time. Install is scheduled for tomorrow. I'll post videos before/after.

Don't mind all my unborn daughter's never ending surplus of goods.

Do we need those same braces for the aa x-pipe? Just got mine installed and when i rev heard hearing a loud rattle, wondering if its hitting the brace? How do i follow up with AA to ensure i am "on the list" to receive a brace?

the X-pipe does not need a brace.

All single midpipe customers will receive a brace
