You can try map 3 and log it to see how the car is behaving. I run 24-25 psi on my map 6 on pump gas depending on the fuel quality

Just picked up my 6MT from Cedar Performance here in Dallas, whom helped me with JB4 and a few other misc fun items today. Short time back with car is eye opening. Running map 2 with quality 93. Shop looked at logs briefly before I left, and said they look great. The mid range is now alive and up top is a different animal. Sample size is short so far, but throw me in category for another +1 as a “must have” for the 6MT folks. Sorry, no dyno numbers, shop squeezed me in last minute already, and was on borrowed time — however I’m going back for my BMS intakes and might be feeling sassy enough now to pay for a few pulls. Is anyone else planning on dyno’ing 6MT base with JB4 soon?
I’ll be back in shop in roughly 2 weeks is plan, so that would be my earliest eta to provide. |

Has anyone with a competition ran logs and seen what peak boost is on competition model is ? I'm curious because with the 6MT we are down boost from the get go and running map2 should technically make it even with competition map1. Only running 91 but map2 seems great on my 6MT no timing pulled or boost.

To gain clarity - is it that more power is actually generated in efficient mode when compared to sport & sport+? or more-so just a cleaner log when in efficient mode vs the latter?
Is the throttle body closing mid pull damaging to the car/fuel pump etc.? Is it providing a less powerful pull in regards to wheel hp/tq on these hotter settings compared to efficient? Trying to word this any & everyway possible so that everyone understands what I'm asking lol. edit: I've just been crusing map 2 for about 30 days and dumping in decent 93 octane. |

Sounds like if you use a dragy to measure your 60-130mph times you'll be quicker in comfort mode than sport+ at least if you have downpipes. Everyone always turns on sport+ because they think the car will be faster that way but its actually the opposite.
