Ok that makes sense

But the yellow stuff do have less noise and dust than stock correct?

The 1500s are a performance downgrade which is fine if you are willing to sacrifice performance to have clean wheels (the all show no go reference). Many of us have tracked the stock pads but wouldn't even think about tracking the 1500s. If your pads are low dust there is a reason for it and it is not because they have better stopping power. The 2000s are closer to the stock pads in performance but unsurprisingly they are higher dust.
I think there are different stock pads between Blue caliper, Red caliper, and Black caliper.
Based on parts catalog, Red caliper has different part number than Blue / Black.
My assumption, Red caliper is more aggressive than Blue / Black. Maybe that's why some has been reporting IS1500 is less than stock.
When I did the testing, it was against Blue caliper.

Honestly, if you do care about performance, G8x are pretty good out of the box.
Surprisingly, most guys are asking for softer suspension and low dust brake pads which are degrading the performance. Even BMW and many other car manufacturers has been following the consumers request, hence all M cars are becoming softer than the previous generation IMO.

IS2000 is closer or a bit better than stock, dust is about 50% less than stock.
If your priority is more on spirited driving, I do recommend IS2000.
It is my personal favorite for my street cars.

What are you thoughts b/t the IS2000 and the TS20’s? Those are the 2 on my list given my criteria for similar characteristics to OEM. I’m leaning on TS20 given the price difference.

Price aside, how would you compare performance, noise and dust b/t them? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to experience TS20.
Therefore I can’t give any comment on it.
