2025 BMW G8X LCI confirmed, updated suspension system changed
Hello,
Just wanted to let everyone know I just got a chance to look at the part numbers on my 2025LCI M4 competition and the dampers do have different part numbers prior to the non-LCI so just as an FYI, if anyone’s looking for an upgrade. The older suspension has a production date of 2021 mine have production date of late 2024. |

You can’t assess differences by looking at the numbers on the part. Part numbers change all the time, there are supersessions, multiple suppliers, etc. the bmw parts database lists the same current part number for all model years , front strut left
31318091355 right 31318091356 for m3 and m4 xdrive 2022-2025, which means there were no Lci-specific changes to the dampers for the 2025.

Do we know why they are different production dates? Are the car and the damper’s made at the same time? I ordered my car in September 2024.
