BMW M Performance Sedan Carbon and Alcantara Seat Back Set

Need your opinion:

Does anyone have these installed on either the red/orange interior M performance seats and if so, do you have a picture. I'd like to upgrade to these but at $2500 Canadian I'm not sure how they will look.

I think they go with any color. Not red/orange but with Silverstone. Also keep in mind there's gloss and matte versions, so pick the one you want specifically!

i wish they made them in black leather vs alcantara. There is nothing in my car alcantara and I think having it not match would annoy me. I love the design and carbon though.

The standard seats are trimmed with alcantara anyway, so you have it anyway.

The seat backs are a fine standalone alcantara mod, although I do like and have added more.

Only some colors come with the alcantara (which I think is so annoying) but I really love these seat backs. I wonder if anyone bas tried them on fiona red interior.

I really want to grab a set of these. Anybody have any vendor recommendations or is it best to just shop the part number for the best deal?

I think probably shop the part number, a couple of the big vendors on here have them, i dont actually know if you can get a deal on them versus bmw pricing. Definitely wouldnt mind an update if you do find them for a solid price.

Yeah, I REALLY want these but my ivory seats have no alcantara on them, so not sure how they'd look. I've got no alcantara anywhere in my interior.

At the very least, I feel like getting the alcantara knee pad replacements would maybe be a cost effective way of evening out the style on the interior, or the steering wheel BUT not to sure if I really like the steering wheel though. I am more a fan of unique shapes on wheels, just couldn’t see me enjoying a dif material.

Part number, then any one of the BMW parts supplies. These are first-party BMW parts, so they're coming from the same place. Whoever has the cheapest + reasonable shipping. They'll be shipped from BMW to the reseller, then to you after.

It's looking like $1400-1500 shipped from what I'm seeing. It's a bit tedious to figure out what's the actual cheapest vendor as some are cheaper for the part, but more expensive for shipping and vice versa. I'm definitely going to snag some once I sell my exhaust.

Like any mod, it is all subject to your own tastes.

I am a fan of alcantara and also have the armrest and knee pads, but would never want the steering wheel. Everyone is different.

Are the seat backs not available as a port installed option?

Noticed a set of these with cf latch handles and chrome surround for the g82. Wondering how these fit in to the picture? They look great. Also a mention of using backs from a m8 in leather, also interesting. Any pro’s or cons to either option? Sorry for all the questions but only want to do this once. Tnx
