Maintenance on Armaspeed air filter
Hey guys I have just installed the Carbon Armaspeed cold air intake on my g80 as i bought from someone I didn’t get the book , but to question is how to clean the filter ? Do they require oil as i know these days a lot of them are dry filters just requires a blower to clean the dust , but some need to be washed then oiled , does anyone know ,
Also has anyone had cold air installed and under service pack at dealership do they clean the filters for you when its in for a service ?? Thanks in advance |

But one time during an oil change the mechanic who was doing my oil changed logged into bmws system that I had them. They had not done that before. This means if I had an issue, they could attempt to use the intakes as an easy out. I know they can’t just blame a part without proof. But we all know most dealers will try everything they can to deny warranty work. You gotta pay to play. I get that. But I thought it was petty of the mechanic to actually log them into the system. Usually they’d do that if you did have a problem. I had zero issues. I was just getting an oil change.
