Brake in sport mode

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the difference should be in comfort and sport under brake setup?

I use the gas pedal and brake pedal with my hand and can’t feel any difference in the two modes. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So after reading the BMW Tech Brief, why do so many M3 review videos say they prefer to leave Brake Mode in Comfort for 100% of DD ? Is there an abruptness at 2/5 travel under Sport brake mode? I have yet to try myself this week.

Correct, when reviewers mention that it's because they feel comfort gives better progressive modulation of braking. I would say I agree with them although sport isn't 'difficult' to drive on by any means.

I came from a 997 Turbo S with ceramic brakes that were SUPER touchy. And I loved the feel. The G80 brakes in sport mode to me...I never gelled with them. Running in standard except when really pushing and initially they felt very long and not confidence inspring, but I quickly got used to it and enjoy the extra modulation that comfort allows.
