G81 ordered, just got notice yesterday it’s delayed 6 weeks….. enjoy the wait 🤣🤣🤣

Yikes 6 weeks! Any reason for delay? I’ll contact sales guy and find out.

Boring spec Alpine White, Black Wheels, Red Calipers. Contemplating CF exterior unsure yet.

I ordered a M4 G83 Convertible in January then had them hold it for a ll March order to ensure the LCI.
Finally on a boat from Europe that is now just leaving Durban SA for Melbourne so hopefully early September...just in time for PPF etc. and then a top-down drive to our home in Noosa where it will be garaged, while I continue working in Melbourne and still have the M2 Comp as a daily - same M2 as your spec BSM/DCT.

Did they tell you the reason for the delay ? I assume you weren't given a VIN number yet ?
I wonder if its the issue with the 826M black wheels.

I don’t have a VIN yet but was wondering if the 25 G80 M3 had started production yet for us in OZ.
I’ll follow up tomorrow with sales rep and find out.

I have my vin now but expected build date is 3/9, how’s yours progressing, waiting for boat?

Still says it's in the paint shop. No updates since 2 weeks ago. The dealer assures me it was built.

Nice, factory shut down tomorrow so hopefully their right, you might get your car in in early october. Do you have any mods planned?

No mods.. Been down that path when i was much younger (450hp+ Supra TT JZA80).. Now, need to keep it calm

Didn’t spec the exterior CF package but I am considering it now price is $9975 dealer won’t budge on pricing. Worth it or not?

I thought about it on the G83 which is due early September (Boat docks 23/08), it is a lot of money for some minor cosmetic changes that can be done with aftermarket parts.

Please go for it mate. It’s $20K+ to install later. 100% worth it to get it from factory.

Called dealer production on car set now for 10th September.. Doubt I’ll add CF pack now.

Anyone have the 2025 build on a ship yet? My tracking hasn’t been updated bmw website shows still in paint when I spoke to dealer few weeks ago said built and waiting for ship.

Soupratts was on the Morning Cecilie so it should be getting delivered any day now, I cancelled my order and picked up a 2024, but I can track my order and it’s just passed paint (ordered July).

I am still at the port after 21 days awaiting ship was hoping to be on the last ship they left but looking at Wallenius next ships leave 14th or 20th looking now at a December arrival.

Yeh that’s why I cancelled mine, couldn’t wait and they said my car was due to my port (Fremantle) first week of December, I imagine that’s 2nd and 3rd week if your eastern states, which will leave you mid January delivery
