6 Month Update: M3 Competition Puddle Lights

I thought I’d make this post as typically puddle lights fade within 1-3 months, especially if you drive/open your door a lot.

Over 6 months ago I installed these custom puddle lights which claim to never fade as they use a different tech to traditional ones (had a chat to the owner about it, great guy).

Here mine are 6+ mo. Later and this is my daily driver. I can attest to the quality! Even got a pair for my rear doors which I think look awesome

Your 100k car deserves more than $10 eBay lights!

Ok great I heard good longevity from another user too for them. Ordered 2 sets 1 for my G80 and 1 for my F98. Can't wait

Update: Got mine in and they are so so much brighter than my OEM ones.

Actually so much better than I expected and photos make them out to be. OEM during the day is 100% invisible, these ones you can see.

UPDATE: Received the lights yesterday - about 7 days from placing the order to arrival at my doorstep. Also received a gracious discount...took me 2 mins to install each light...very easy to remove OEM lights and install new lights. They look fantastic - much thanks for the recommendation.

30% off is crazy. They’ve already lowered their RRP since I bought them, I paid $99 twice, because I ordered the two sets I have individually.

Just under a week if I recall correctly. They’re not US based. UK or Australia I think

I have these installed for about a month now. They look amazing in low light and at night. They get washed out during the day, where a bit warmer temperature white would work better. Anyway no regrets, still better than the oem puddle lights.

Looks great. Mine are visable during the day, where my OEM ones were literally invisible.
