824m vs the other larger options

Does anyone have feedback on the 824m wheel?
Or anyone regret getting the larger options instead of getting the base 824m wheel?

I was perfectly happy with the sizing on the 824Ms. My problem was the color -- I decided to either powder-coat the 824Ms with all the hassle that entails or to go aftermarket. In the end, I went aftermarket with 19" front and rear.

Old post, but did you lower and/or add spacers with the 824Ms? Looking to add springs and spacers to hold me off until I go aftermarket, but impossible to find any info on rubbing for the base wheels.

No lowering or spacers on mine -- factory specs.
