I don’t know about M3 discounts but here in Southeastern Wisconsin I was able to get a dealer to offer a discount of 4 to 5% off an M4 pretty easily.

Yeah m4 seem like they’ve started to get discounts last year.

My dealer was finally able to submit my M3 order today. They had experienced system outages over the past few days due to the heavy storm impacts in Upstate SC.

My dealer called me this morning to tell me they got a production slot for me. They must have acquired it somehow I’m not sure. Maybe they traded for it. Got my production number and it says it’s scheduled for production. Not sure which build week this puts me into but getting excited.

I was under the impression that dealers got allocations at different times- mine told me they’re expecting their October allocations at some point mid-month. Bleh, this process is confusing

They get it pretty much at the same time. It’s towards the end of the month. So last week they got allocations for November builds. End of October will be for December builds.

Ah thanks for the info, very helpful. I’m supposedly due for that next allocation, but they’ve not submitted the build at all. The sales manager just said he’d punch it in when the allocation got there. That worries me a bit as in the past I’ve been able to have an order ID generated regardless of allocation being available yet. Should I be pestering them to submit the order into the order bank and sign pricing agreement?

They submit the build when they get the allocation and get a production number for you so you can track the build. Each dealer is different. I put a deposit down and they just emailed me saying I was the first in line for an allocation. Some will require a non-refundable deposit and credit check.

sorry if this is dumb but most of the time allocations are usually two months ahead if that makes sense?

It’s about one month ahead. For example, we just November allocations and December allocations will be at the end of October.
