BMW CCA NCC DE Recommendations for M Car Settings
Our club recently shared the recommended setup for 2015 and newer M car settings. Apparently, these were obtained from "Darren of BMW," might even be Darren Leung, not sure. Nevertheless, few items are interesting:

Instructors must get a lot of questions about this and have differing views so the org felt the need to standardize. Makes sense. No Sport+ with DSC off is interesting but probably because of the overly sensitive throttle map. It doesn't address M-Traction though which could be explored in A/B group if so equipped.

Hit_Apex I think you have point. I also find the tire temps and pressure recommendations quite interesting. And I did not know I was supposed to keep the e-brake pushed down while turning the car off to avoid auto re-engagement

Lol I would never run Sport + suspension unless I was at Sebring and even then turn 17 would probably be brutal. Even in the softest mode I can see some rough curbs unsettling the car.
Agreed on comfort steering, that's all I ran on the F82 M4CS. Sport was way too twitchy and made oversteer control too crappy. I haven't tracked the G82 yet but I get the same feeling with the twitchiness when I go sport. |
