Driver assist dongle
I’ve got a Carismo wheel with their dongle to allow the assist features to work - and I believe they did work for a week or two. However, now they they don’t and I get an error message if I select assisted driving. - Carismo says they are working on a fix with an updated dongle for 2024 cars.
Is there any other way to get this working besides the dongle? Can it be coded somehow? Thanks! |

Doesn't look like this can be coded out, i've seen some dongles on ebay/aliexpress maybe look there.

What you say is possible, I really rarely use the assist but I recall trying it after the dealer did the install and it worked. I’m wondering if I had a software update over the air and that stopped it.
The wheel is built for acc but the issue is the hands on sensor and that’s the purpose of the dongle. Carismo is aware the dongle for 23 and earlier seems not to work with the 24s and newer they are working on a fix. |
